  • Amazing hospitality

"This place is covered with loving hospitality. It was not just a place to stay but a place that welcomed us the minute we walked in & we were able to call it home during our stay. I loved the art pieces arranged throughout the place. It was like living in a "I Spy" book every time you thought you saw everything something else would show up. Susan has the gift of hospitality & it was demonstrated throughout the place & when speaking with her. I definitely recommend this place, in all my travels it is rare to find a gem like this."

  • A real Alaskan taste

"This was a great stay, the hostess is great. It was quiet and relaxing. I took a hike around the whole property and the weather was great. Food was yummo! I hope to stay again. Truly breathe-taking views both inside the house and outside!"

  • Nice Place; great views

"When we first pulled up to the house I was shocked; the pictures did not include the adjacent areas so the unkempt yards and homes next door took away from this home. It didn't help that the yard needed attention (tall grass and weeds were in abundance). The inside of the cabin was just as cute as the pictures, beds were comfy, but my husband did have trouble with the stairs & the multi levels upstairs and down. The stairs are very steep. I must have read on another site that there was a washer & dryer but this house does not have one available for use. I was also shocked by the limited supply of towels...we were staying for 3 days and were provided 3 towels for the two of us. We either had to share a fresh towel each day or re-use towels. No guest soap is included so don't forget to pack it! On the other hand there are plenty of windows with a great view of glaciers and the Homer Spit. We enjoyed our stay even though we had rain and had to put up with road construction to and from Homer."

  • Beautiful spot

"Just a few minutes from town, this beautiful condo was private and very affordable. We stayed only 1 night but will plan to stay again. Beautiful view of the Homer Spit and all the mountains surrounding the Kachemak Bay, this place was perfect."
