  • You won't be disappointed!

"We stayed at Kenai Peninsula Suites for 3 nights, 2 nights in Their log yurt, Puffin, and the Otter for one. Both cabins are new, clean and beautiful! Puffin especially was a cool design and is two level. The location of all cabins is amazing with a beautiful view of mountains and even volcanoes across the bay! The hot tub was super clean. It is a short drive from town and a fun hike, homestead trail, is just down the road. This is a well run and managed place and you won't be disappointed."

  • Best spot on the island

"We fell in love with Halibut Cove and this cabin! The view from this cabin is astounding. It has all the comforts you might want and more. We had an amazing time and can't stop thinking about when we'll return."

  • JUST PERFECT!!!

"My husband and I stayed for 4 nights Aug. 12-16, 2014 and this was our home away from home. It was so nice to return from a full day of sightseeing or hiking to this quiet little cabin to wind down. The French doors to the back deck looking out on the woods and mountain made it seem that we had a little piece of Alaska all to ourselves. The location was GREAT and only a mile and a half from the main road to stores, excursions, fishing. The lake was a just a short walk away and you could even take a short stroll to one of the major resorts and dine in their restaurant. This was especially nice after a long day. We didn't spend a lot of time at the cabin and mostly used it for evening showers, sleeping and breakfast but it had everything we needed and was very well equipped an well kept. If you plan on cooking, it is best to purchase groceries in Anchorage (if you are coming through there) as the local stores are small and may not have everything you need. Even though we only used the downstairs bedroom, the upstairs loft had another double and twin bed which looked very comfy (but open to living area downstairs). The photos provided are a good representation of the cabin. This cabin and its somewhat central location was a perfect fit for us as it made our trip to the Kenai Peninsula memorable as we ventured out to the ends of the road at Homer, Captain Cooks State Park north of Kenai, Seward and Whittier. Staying in this particular location made these manageable day trips with some hiking of the local trails. Words cannot do justice to the spectacular scenery around every corner. The weather was a little rainy but we came prepared due to the time of year and we didn't let a little rain slow us down. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin and in the area. Thank you for making it available to tourists! We are talking about returning with friends and family and will definitely check to see if the cabin will be available. PS: Don't bring charcoal, it is a gas grill. We had a chuckle when we added our bag to the 2 others left by previous guests."

  • Private and relaxing

"Four of us stayed at Laughing Raven in early August '14 for four nights. Nice, clean log home with lots of windows located on a large, private lot with no neighbors in sight. Large, functional kitchen, two large living areas, and a huge wrap-around deck with a hot tub. Outstanding view of Cook Inlet and K-bay from the bluff just uphill from the house. We brought our boat down and had plenty of room to turnaround and store the trailer in the driveway. The owner (Mo) is very professional and a pleasure to do business with. We will stay again in the future."
