"We had a wonderful time at the Spruce Moose Wild Rose Chalet. It was absolutely beautiful inside & there was a stunning view of the mountains from the Chalet. The hot tub was great after a long day of hiking. Can't wait to come back again!"

"A hidden gem among the Homer hideaways! Close to the beach, incredible sundeck on which to enjoy Alaska’s long summer days and nights (cocktail in hand). Inside, loft bedroom where the surf lolls you to sleep at night and gently awakens you in the AM.
The spacious living room downstairs with a full wall mirror allowed me to dance and choreograph new pieces while looking out at the beautiful view across Kachemak Bay.
The wood stove in the downstairs living space adds an unparalleled warmth and ambiance, and I really enjoyed having the freedom to cook my own meals in a well-appointed kitchen with such a fabulous view.
Truly a relaxing get away!"

"The views from this lovely home were simply spectacular! The home was pristine yet oh soooo comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything a chef could want. Best of all Mama Moose and her baby visited us on our very first morning. Nice walk to the beach and clamming. Easy drive to Homer . If we ever come back to Kenai we will stay here again.

"This lodging truly was crafted with love and an eye for detail. The cabin and furnishings were in their natural habitat. Every time we looked around we saw something new and unique. The owner/builder has a God given talent of looking at a piece of wood and crafting it into either functional furniture or trim. It was clean and neat; well maintained; kitchen utensils well stocked; cereal, coffee, tea, condiments in the cupboards; refrigerator had orange juice and milk stocked; gas grill on the deck; an easy walking path to the river with two benches waiting to be used. Excellent quality bedding and linens. Four senior couples enjoyed a brief, but too short stay; definitely will return if the opportunity arises."
