"As if visiting Alaska wasn't enough, staying in this house added to the experience. It was a great place to come home to, relax, and rest up for the next day. It's very easy to get to, convenient to Anchorage, Whittier and Seward. There is plenty of room for everyone. Just a short walk to a local grocery/provision store and restaurants. We'd definitely stay here again, when back in Alaska."

"we stayed here two nights and wish we had stayed longer! it's very close to the airport, but also close to restaurants. unfortunately, we left early and arrived late everyday, as we were exploring beautiful Alaska, but we really wished we could have stayed longer and really enjoyed the place. it is a b&b, but you have your own apartment, including kitchen, right in front of a lake where you can go canoeing! the owners were extremely helpful and really nice. there is a private bedroom and a sofa-bed in the living room, sleeping 4 total comfortably. they leave you breakfast everyday in the kitchen, so you can eat it whenever is more convenient for you. really beautiful place, we loved it!"

Delightful property-I hope to stay here again on future visit
"We loved the apartment for our time in Anchorage. It was so spacious, clean with comfortable beds and nice linens, and shades for going to bed at 10:30 PM when it is still light outside. The location was perfect to access the main highways both north and south for our day adventure trips. As a family with young adults, we did a ton of hiking, and Sue was gracious to lend a cooler, so we could pack our picnic lunches for the day. Beautiful plants, and well maintained property. Sue is a delightful hostess-we loved our little chats, and were delighted with the local company she suggested for kayaking in Whittier. Initially, my oldest daughter was concerned that we were not staying downtown, but she quickly learned that there is not much of a "scene" for her age. We can't wait to come back!"

"This house felt very welcoming. It has everything you need (shampoo, coffee filters, cooking staples) and asks only that you replenish what you use. The couches are super comfortable and have room for everyone, the beds have crisp linens and good mattresses. Plenty of water pressure for hot showers. It is the ideal home away from home. We stayed for a fishing trip in Whittier and had a 30 minute morning commute to the boat - it was a good location between Whittier and Anchorage."
