"we stayed here two nights and wish we had stayed longer! it's very close to the airport, but also close to restaurants. unfortunately, we left early and arrived late everyday, as we were exploring beautiful Alaska, but we really wished we could have stayed longer and really enjoyed the place. it is a b&b, but you have your own apartment, including kitchen, right in front of a lake where you can go canoeing! the owners were extremely helpful and really nice. there is a private bedroom and a sofa-bed in the living room, sleeping 4 total comfortably. they leave you breakfast everyday in the kitchen, so you can eat it whenever is more convenient for you. really beautiful place, we loved it!"

"This is the third time I have had the pleasure of staying in this charming home. It features all the amenities including 2 flat screen televisions, wifi, well-equipped kitchen with coffee maker, toaster, microwave, 5 burner stove and stainless steel appliances. The house is very clean and nicely appointed with high quality towels and linens. The location can't be beat! Walking distance to my favorite restaurant, Jack Sprat, as well as the Bake Shop, ski slopes and art gallery. I highly recommend this vacation home to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. The owner was such a delight to work with. She responded promptly to my text messages and was very professional. I will be returning!"

Beautiful, peaceful cabin with wonderful views, river access, and great kitchen
"We stayed in late August and really loved this cabin. The kitchen is amazing, and views of the mountain (and a little glacier) and the river right from the living areas were a treat. Everything was quiet and peaceful, a nice break from town. We had a great time throwing rocks in the river (my kids' favorite activity). We were five people from age 4 to age 70 and the house suited us very well.
The sleeping nook for kids was the only concern. The high bed was just too high for my kids that still occasionally roll off the bed; without a safety rail, it doesn't work for them. Having a safety rail would help. I slept in it myself to free up safer bed space for the youngest. It worked out fine.
Very peaceful, everything set up just right. Loved this house."
