  • Bear Paw Lodge - "Let's Play It Again, Sam!"

"This was a GREAT place to stay. Clean, spacious, well appointed kitchen. It met our every expectation in addition to being a beautiful log structure. I will stay here again and again when back in Seward. Can't say enough about Dave and Wendy (owners). They were great hosts. My only regret is we did not have time to do a kayak tour with them."

  • Great family vacation spot!

"We rented this chalet and the adjoining chalet (owned by the same owners) for a family vacation with my extended family (ages 2 to 82). It was perfect! The house was beautiful, clean, well-maintained, and well-stocked. Had everything we needed. The view was fabulous - even better than the photos online. I hope we get to come back here again to spend some time again some day."

  • Best value, best accomodations

"Our annual fishing trip to Alaska...I always use VRBO when searching out a place to stay for the week, and I feel like I struck a diamond when I found this gem. Literally all the comforts of home, with a woodsy setting...and a fire pit! We sat around that a couple of nights, the peace and quiet is AMAZING. 10 minute drive to town, some things even closer. Their wifi works better than mine does at home. Why anyone would want to pay more than this to stay in a 'cubicle' (motel room) is beyond me, I can't wait to stay here again on our next trip! Thanks Julie."

  • Excellent Seward Harbor Hideaway

"My dad and I came up from Seattle for a Seward Silver salmon fishing trip. The weather and the charter were a bust, but the saving grace was this awesome little hideaway in downtown Seward. This property is super-clean and totally updated with all of the amenities. 2 bedrooms, and a full bath with full kitchen, and living area. All were updated, with coastal interior colors and decor. Cable tv and wifi were nice little adds. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience as well. All in all a very clean and updated property, and am looking forward to staying here again in the future."
