  • Amazing place to stay!

"Mike & Deb were wonderful hosts. The house was very well maintained with amazing views! Nice place to relax after a long day of fishing, hiking and sightseeing. Mike & Deb answered any questions we had. The affordability of the house enabled us to do/see more while we were there. It was nice not having to eat out all the time. We had four adults in our party and were very comfortable. We will definitely return next time we visit Alaska! Thanks Mike & Deb for amazing memories!"

  • Excellent House - Perfect for Cooper Landing Fishing Trips

"This house far exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend it for any fishing trip departing Cooper Landing. The owners were very easy to deal with and we look forward to returning."

  • Fabulous Home

"This property is amazing! You can easily view 5 separate glacial fields from the main balcony and the views of Katchemak Bay just can't be beat! The photos are accurate depictions of the property including nightly visits from 2 female moose including one with calf. We stayed here with two other couples (6 total) and the layout of the home easily afforded everyone their own space. The only negative comment we have is that the water is from underground wells and the smell as a result in the bathrooms was pretty overpowering especially in the MB downstairs. The owners have installed a water filtration system in the refrigerator so drinking tasty drinking water isn't a problem, just the stench in the bathrooms from the well water in the toilets and faucets. Upon reflection we probably should have contacted the owner but in the grand scheme of things the well water stench was a non-issue given the location of this beautiful property and the space and furnishings provided by the owners. They really have tried to provide a rental property that meets all the needs one could ask for while on vacation. This property is a real gem and the owners were very easy to work with. We would very much rent this property again if we decide to return to Homer, Alaska as we can't say enough about what a great time was enjoyed by all in this very beautiful home on a very scenic piece of property just outside Homer."

  • Superior and Fantastic

"10 of us stayed here for a week. It as an amazing experience fishing out the back door! We traveled into town for fishing trips and down to Homer 3 times (about 2hours each way) for some offshore Halibut. Each man bought back 70lbs of filets thats right 700lbs of fish!!!! The sad thing is we missed the Salmon run by a week.. but the accomodations more than made up for it. Great touches and details in the house this will be my only choice next time. My son said his favorite memories were laughing with the men on the river and catching his first Halibut. priceless Thanks Mark from SC"
