  • Great house!

"I loved this vacation house. It truly looks like the pictures. We rented the larger boat and had a blast. They took my husband and boys fishing . They caught halibut and crab. One morning on the boat we saw an orca whale and it's baby. Hiking was great on ketchikan. We are come back again. Would love to live there."

"This house is owned/operated by good people. If you do not mind walking up steep hills...the location is perfect. It is all about the view here. The downstairs or upstairs units are nice. I recommend this place"

"Breathtaking views. Perfect place to quiet your mind and be still. A seal visited us every day. I worried about my toddler's safety because of the proximity to the water. The house is very safe. Maura and Joe are very thoughtful and not at all intrusive. Maura shared vegetables from her garden! Kitchen is very well appointed. So many kitchen gadets, yay!"

"We have been visiting Ketchikan once or twice a year for nine years. Anchor Inn by the Sea is our favorite place to stay. The views are spectacular, the grounds are beautiful, the accommodations comfortable and well stocked, pride of ownership is evident in each well appointed apartment, and the owners, Mary and Greg give us just the right amount of attention to make each stay enjoyable and memorable. Views from the kitchen table and the porch include fishing boats of all sizes and types, passenger ferries, cruise ships, cargo barges, local skiffs, and kayakers. Float planes fly to and from fishing camps and other destinations. Marine life includes humpback whales, orcas, porpoises and salmon. We have seen eagles fishing and watched ravens, mink and other wildlife. Sunsets are stunning."
