"We stayed here with the sole purpose of seeing he Northern Lights and WOW did they show up right over the house all night long. It was an amazing light show. The Apartment was perfect as well. Spotlessly clean, had everything one could ask for and quiet, we loved that. The host, Dale and Jo are a wealth of knowledge about things to do and see and Dale had some great dog sled stories to share with us. We will for sure stay here next time we are in Fairbanks. Dale and Jo, see you guys this summer we hope."

"From the beginning the Pierce"s replied to my emails very quickly and when we arrived at the Anchorage I had a text from them with driving directions and how to get into the cabin since we were arriving late at night. They had the heat turned on for us, the porch light on, and music playing inside. These may seem small, but they were very nice, thoughtful actions on their part. When we entered the cabin we found a beautiful, clean, well stocked place to spend our vacation. Their were condiments in the refrigerator, spices in the cabinets, and items such as tea, coffee, creamer, sugar, as well as snacks such as popcorn, hot chocolate mix and chips in the drawers. Every dish, utensil, and pot or pan you could ever need was there and everything was clean and ready to use. Additional items such as bear spray was also there. The view of Willow Creek from the porch was very nice, relaxing, and quiet since the cabin is far enough off the lightly traveled road and far enough into the woods to create a real feeling of solitude. The neighboring cabin is far enough away and separated by woods that you can barely notice it is even there. If you plan to explore off the property Paul and Ginny had the Milepost book as well as many other maps for fishing and travel not to mention a book shelf that was stocked with many interesting and useful books on Alaska. The furniture was very nice, comfortable, and clean as was the bed. The entire experience met and exceeded any and all expectations and the Pierce's checked in with us to make sure we were satisfied or needed anything."

"Rainbow lodge was a great experience and exactly as described. Steve was a wonderful host and provided us with some very valuable recommendations. The beds were comfortable. The property was clean. The kitchen well-stocked with pots and pans and some basics (like coffee - thanks!). If you want to stay in the Willow area, this is a good base camp. Not many fish in the lake that we could tell but plenty in nearby rivers. It's a little far if you want to explore Denali but provides easy access to local fishing, Independence Mine and the Palmer area of Mat-Su. This rental was at the end of our trip and we would have dearly loved access to a washer/dryer. And a dishwasher would have been a real treat but I don't know what kind of stress those would have placed on the well water/septic tank combo. Regardless, we were not disappointed at all and highly recommend."
