"We enjoyed every minute of our week long stay at Amber Lake Cabins. The Care Takers, Nancy and Hal greated us with a smile and were the best at making sure everything was perfect. The 3 story cabin had everything we could have asked for. Felt like home and very comfortable. Seeing a moose on our way in made us feel like it was going to be a great week. Each day we enjoyed cooking our meals and sitting out on the porch enjoying the view of the lake. Fishing, riding around the lake in the paddle boat, kayak, and raft, and watching the beautiful sunsets were the best. The firepit was awesome and we enjoyed sitting out by the fire each day. Tom was awesome at making sure we were happy with everything and even had a dishnet repair person come out to fix the dishnet connections so we could watch TV. WiFi and cell service was not the greatest, but after a few days we gave up trying to connect and enjoyed our peace and quite. We rented out the whole cabin so we could have use of the washer and dryer on the bottom floor and an extra bathroom. It really came in handy. We highly recommend the Amber Lake Cabin and rate it at the top of our list of places to stay. Pat, Helen, Ken and Fredia"

"Homer Cottage is a wonderful vacationn home and a home in the trues sense of the word. We have stayed in many vacation homes and this was by far the best equipped. Tony and Liz are very generous and provide everything anyone could possibly want and then more. This home is large, very comfortable, roomy, on a large and beautifully maintained property and with an unbelievable view of the mountains and water. We are hoping to return soon. Thank-you Tony and Liz VERY much."

"A hidden gem on the west side of town that offers full kitchen and fully stocked one bedroom . Lovely property with a welcoming hostess Liz. It is about a five minute drive into the city where one will find all types of attractions and restaurants. Our daughter Annie ( who lives in Homer during the Summer) was our local guide to the area... and Liz supplemented by having a plethora of guides and books at our disposal. Great civilized way to see Homer... (have WIFI and indoor plumbing ..unlike our daughter's "dry cabin" UGH! Will stay at the R & R again!"

"This lovely house on Lake Lucille was the perfect spot for our Alaska adventures and two family vacation. Lakefront with beautiful view of the mountains, quiet and peaceful, yet close to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. This was home base for trips to glacier tour in Whittier, fishing near Homer, Anchor Point, Talkeetna (1 hr away), Denali. The Alaska Train Depot is only a mile away and beautiful Hatcher's Pass with amazing hiking close by. The house is spacious, very clean and the owner most accommodating. Bathrooms are nice and large. Everything is just comfortable, clean and bright. Wonderful to be able to do laundry, cook breakfast, pack lunches or grill out and for everyone to have their private space between the fabulous day trips. Highly recommend Bob's Bungalow."
