  • You won't be disappointed!

"We stayed at Kenai Peninsula Suites for 3 nights, 2 nights in Their log yurt, Puffin, and the Otter for one. Both cabins are new, clean and beautiful! Puffin especially was a cool design and is two level. The location of all cabins is amazing with a beautiful view of mountains and even volcanoes across the bay! The hot tub was super clean. It is a short drive from town and a fun hike, homestead trail, is just down the road. This is a well run and managed place and you won't be disappointed."

  • Wonderful home

"My husband and I stayed only one night at this fabulous chalet and certainly wished that we could have stayed longer. It is set up on a hill with a beautiful view overlooking Homer, Kachemak Bay and the mountains beyond. The owners are lovely and accommodating. Recognizing that we were exhausted from having slept only a few hours at the Fairbanks airport the night before they very generously upgraded us to the main apartment at no extra charge. What a nice gesture and so much appreciated. This apartment is stupendous. It has a large living area with picture windows facing the water and mountains beyond. The owner has a green thumb and there are beautiful plants in the windows and climbing the beams. The kitchen is modern with everything you need to cook full meals. The bed is very comfortable and the bedroom window coverings effectively block the 4:30A.M. sunrise. The bathroom has ample space and a great shower. The entire space is immaculately clean. The yard was freshly mowed with pretty plants and flowers. The deck is a great place to sip wine and enjoy the view. There is a BBQ grill and table and chairs where you could even eat dinner. Overall this is a lovely home which we highly recommend. Thank you so much Liz."

  • fall visit and fishing

"Eagle Head is amazing! No other words do it justice. These "cabins" are better than anybodies home, and at the same time rustic. They really give you that Alaska feel that is part of the magic of the visit. Great views of the river, the eagles, and great salmon too. Ron and Denise are like family, and they make sure every need is accomodated. They also arranged a float trip for rainbows and arctic char to see more of the river, so there was variety to the fishing. Big fish and lots of fun. I will definitely be back... :)"

  • Perfect Place to Stay with Large Group

"The Bear Paw provided our large group the perfect place to stay while in Seward. The log cabin is very beautiful. The interior is well designed for total comfort. It has a large open kitchen with all the necessities for cooking along with a large dining room for enjoying the feast . Places to relax and spread out is available both downstairs in the main living area (large rock fireplace) or upstairs in the entertainment room. Games/Books/Videos provided. Each bedroom is meticulously clean and spacious. We enjoyed the views of the mountains while relaxing on the large deck which provided plenty of warm sun. The outdoor Hot Tub made for a fun evening. It is close to a nice beach for exploration. We particularly liked the fact that it was close enough to town (but not in town) to relax in peace and quiet. We all 'loved' this lodge and highly recommend it to future travelers."
