"A group of 5 of us stayed here for 5 nights. We had plenty of room with 3 bedrooms and 2 bath, in addition to the living room and dining room. This helped us save a lot of money and was much more comfortable than a hotel, in my opinion. I will definitely stay here again whenever we are lucky enough to make it back up to Anchorage. Great unit, and Carson is very nice and accommodating. Couldn't be happier."

"My wife and I spent four days on the ground floor of this beautiful house in August of 2014. It was a B & B arrangement as the owner, David, was living upstairs on the third floor. Plenty of comfort and privacy. Great to have David on site as he was helpful with advice about exploring the area and fishing. The large fishing platform below the house was fantastic. Make sure to bring a few days worth of groceries and other items unless you want to drive the 17 to 20 miles into Soldotna each day- although there is a small (limited) general store, just four miles down the road. Relax on the deck, catch the afternoon sun, and grill the catch of the day. Then sit around the fire pit at night and watch the stars while listening to the river roll on by. Paradise in Alaska!"

"Our stay at the Glacier View was as awesome as the landscape. The cabin was stocked with all items that you might need. Catkin treated us as guests in her home and we felt like family, The tour of the Kilcher Homestead was informative and got to meet a few Kilcher family members. We enjoyed our trip down to the beach. Thanks to Catkin for her personal tours. It was a vacation to remember in a cozy cabin with a fantastic view of the bay & glaciers."

"The setting is simply gorgeous. The views and access to the waterfront is like your own private park. The owners are upstairs and very helpful and responsive but not at all intrusive. Thoughtful touches included fresh bouquets from the property and a little basket of instant oatmeal and vitamin c packets. The kitchen was stocked so that we easily made our own halibut and salmon dinner. Four adults slept comfortably, the Murphy bed was left open for our 5 night stay and there was plenty of room. The bedroom was quiet and the master bed very comfortable. Black-out shade was used, with the night never really getting dark for our late June stay. I left off one star because access down the flight of outdoor stairs is an issue for older folks, like my Mom. Could use another hand rail. That said, my Mom LOVED this place! Car is a must. The drive to Juneau is minutes, and it was nice to be a bit away. Do not hesitate to rent this apartment for Juneau and surrounding area sightseeing or just relaxing."
