  • Lovely Stay

"We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful cabin. All the furniture is very nice and comfortable. I loved the bear theme all over the decorations in the house. We brought some of our own dvds, but noticed they had a small collection for us to choose from as well and enjoyed watching one of their movies. We were busy going back and forth to Flagstaff for graduation festivities - so we wish we wouldh've had more time to enjoy just relaxing at the cabin, especially the lovely patio. Thanks to Christine for all her help as well! It was a great stay and I hope we can come back again sometime!"

  • Very Nice - Perfect alternative to staying in hotel - Very clean and modern appliances

"Chose to stay at this property with my wife and two boys who wanted a short visit to Flagstaff so we could go skiing at Snowbowl. This is not the closest place to the ski resort, but not too far either at about 35 minutes from driveway to Snowbowl parking lot. This is a great alternative to staying in a hotel, but with a lot more room. All the appliances were new or like new, flat screen TV in family room and Master bedroom, washer/dryer, nice tile and wood floors, working gas fireplace put out a ton of heat, two car garage fit my full size Tundra pick-up (I have to say barely, but it did fit) and offered a place to store gear. Quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants and shopping. Free wifi was available too. Will definitely stay again."

  • Terrific outdoor getaway

"The air smelled of pines as we stepped out of the car, and we were enchanted. It is cabin in a forested area, with gorgeous cathedral ceilings and woodwork throughout. The open floor plan has a large dining room table perfect for entertaining, and a living room with fireplace. It is a short drive to the wonders of Sedona and hiking in the Oak Creek area. Also a perfect launching spot for a trip up to the Grand Canyon. You can enjoy a day at the canyon and then get away completely from the crowds. We were there early in the season and the owners made certain that everything was ready for our arrival. This was a both a peaceful retreat, and a luxury accomodation. Both my husband and our college-aged son loved the place."

  • A week in Munds Park with 14 people!

"We stayed in the house for a week in late July, during a particularly warm period - got to about 90 degrees each day in Munds Park. We had a great time there - our family, close-knit to begin with, spent a lot of time hiking, horseback riding, eating (!), and just hanging out together. The size of the house was perfect for our group. All 6 of the kids (ages 3-21) stayed downstairs, and they had a blast with the games and the ping pong table. The bathroom on that level was adequate for their needs. It was nice and cool down there, too, which was a plus for our group. The house was very clean upon our arrival, and we were impressed by the kitchen! Terrific amenities, great appliances, plenty of room in the refrigerator, and the island is huge! We also liked the laundry room, and being able to use the garage was great, too, as we had four cars there. The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are perfect for our needs. The great room on the main floor had enough space for us, but it was hard to keep cool. We cooked every day, and the heat generated by the kitchen was hard to disperse. The fan on the ceiling with opening the windows just didn't do all we needed it to do. Sitting on the porch in the evening was nice, temperature wise, especially late in the week with an approaching storm and all the lightning. Also, the lighting in the great room at night was not very good. When we had the lights on the ceiling turned on, and had the fan going, it gave off a strobe effect that was annoying. We had the lamps on, but it was just too dark. We brought a lamp from a bedroom to use on the table with which to play games. That helped some. Another thing that we were surprised at was the proximity to I-17. A couple of us didn't like the noise, but most of our group was not annoyed - they must be used to it. -grin- There were many fires in the area during our stay, and at times we had to keep the windows closed to keep out the smoke, and with no A/C, it got hot. One minor repair thing - the knob on the upstairs toilet may need tightening - it turns a full 360 when flushed. Overall, our family had a great time - we loved our week in Munds Park! Thanks for sharing your home with us!"
