  • Perfect for Family Gathering

"Our three days at Windy View Ranch were just about as perfect as they could be. Our accommodations were just right for the three couples and one child. The master bedroom closet is so large it made for a perfect toddler bedroom space! The doggy door into the dog run was most appreciated by the four footed member of our family. During the day we wandered around the forest to the rear of the property. It was fairly windy so we opted to leave the patio furniture safely in the garage. The view of the peaks was wonderful and we enjoyed watching the sunset each day. The yard was enticing for our dog during the day when she explored every corner within the safety of the fencing. The kitchen was very well equipped which made our meals there easy to prepare and the dining room table was absolutely magnificent. Our only suggestion, based on the age of one couple, was for more light in the dining area. The cupboards and drawers are well labeled and everything needed for meal prep was easily found. The bedrooms were extremely large and well appointed with plenty of closet space. The living area was wonderful with great, comfy chairs and a recliner couch. The lighting sources throughout the house were wonderful and, again, there was good direction as to switch purpose. This would be a great location for people needing a "home base" while visiting the Greater Flagstaff area. There are nearby hikes and many sights to visit. It is close enough to town for those forgotten items but far enough out to give it a rural flavor, with nearby horses whinnying their greetings in the mornings. We loved watching the prairie dogs outside the fence pop in and out of their burrows. We tried to entice the elk in, as per the instructions, but we were not lucky enough to see them at the watering trough. Thanks for providing a wonderful home away from home. We just loved our stay!"

  • Convenient to local trails for hiking

"This was my 4th visit to Cathedral Rock Casa. Linda is a great landlady and very responsive to any questions and concerns. She has furnished the casa with virtually anything you could need. I like the privacy of the area, yet it is only several miles into town. Great sunsets and sunrises over the red rocks. The highlight for me, my dog, and my guests is the wonderful hiking available in Sedona - so many different trails to choose from, both near the casa and at many different trailheads around Sedona. On the rare cloudy/rainy day, it is not far to Jerome,or to Indian ruins and petroglyphs, or to nearby Arizona wineries, or to art galleries and boutiques in Sedona, or local museums. Or, you may be in Sedona during the International Film Festival or one of the music festivals. A great location for your Sedona vacation! Carol"

  • Executive Home with Cabin Like Feel

"I have rented homes over a dozen times. Spent a weekend here with 4 couples a single and one infant. This home had everything we hoped for. Tucked away in the pines, yet close to shopping and downtown Flagstaff. Large, clean, well equipped, open kitchen. Amazing family room with 2 story window, fire place and big screen entertainment. Downstairs bedroom is self contained, loft has room for all kinds of extra sleeping. Decor is modern, functional and perfectly fits the cabin in the woods motif. A newer home, it has all the modern amenities you would expect. The hot tub was perfect, hot and clean and sitting on the deck surrounded by Pines. Overall a great rental."
