  • The title is right. Huge Home and Huge Views!

"The views are simply breathtaking. The stars at night are amazing. The home was certainly spacious enough for my family of 13. The owner and his staff were very pleasant to work with and contacted us the first day to make sure we made it in okay. I only gave four stars because the carpet was stained; the ice makers were not working in either one of the refrigerators and no ice cube trays were available; the light bulbs were burned out in the upstairs master bedroom closet/toilet area. We found extra bulbs to replace them, but had to have two of my guys change the bulbs by one standing on the shoulders of the other because no chair was tall enough to reach the fixtures and there was no ladder around. It was late at night and dark and we didn't want to wait for the maintenance person to change them out. The designation of 3 master suites might mislead you into thinking each "suite" has a bathroom in it. Not so. The upstairs master suite has a bathroom in it. There is another bathroom upstairs for the other two upstairs bedrooms to share. One bathroom downstairs to share between three bedrooms. Ants were a problem on the deck. All appliances seemed to be working fine other than the ice makers. We had plenty of dishes, flatware, pots and pans. We did precook most of the food, so we just warmed things up. The BBQ worked. Wi-Fi was working. The furniture was ok, rental grade. With exception of the carpet, it was clean, but not motel clean. If you have toddlers you may want to bring a gate for the staircase to the downstairs area. In all honesty, the other homes we have rented in Page have been nicer, but not near as roomy. This is a good house for a large number of people, and again, the views and stars were awesome."

  • Convenient location

"There are many things our family liked about this house: convenient location to Antelope Canyon, Lake Powell, downtown Page and grocery store, well stocked kitchen, video library, comfy beds and clean, well maintained house, outdoor patio area and barbecue, stunning views just down the road, garage available for our vehicle. Owners were friendly and helpful."

  • Changes in Latitude

"I have to admit that I am completely sold on VRBO rentals, having stayed in a number of them across the Caribbean over the years. When doing the trip planning, one scrutinizes the photos on the website and wonders if the place will actually look like that in reality. In the case of the Kokopelli, the pictures just cannot do it justice. Before you even set foot IN the house, the views impress…..instead of turquoise water and red sky, in Page you find a red horizon and turquoise sky. At first it seemed sort of upside down. A private front courtyard with a fountain presents you with a massive front door, through which you enter into an atrium foyer, and a large living room with a two-story wall of windows overlooking those red canyons. The kitchen is huge and well-appointed, with granite counter tops and a breakfast nook, and has easy access to the formal dining room. Two separate staircases lead up to the three upstairs bedrooms and a very large game room with its own mini-kitchen. The fourth bedroom is the master suite, located downstairs and taking up an entire third of that floor. If you like awesome bathrooms as much as I do, you may spend a fair amount of time in the master bath; from the jetted tub under the custom glass-block window to the oversize shower, from the double sinks and counter space to the room-sized walk-in closet with its own arched window, it’s bound to impress. Make sure you snag this suite before anyone else in your party does. The focal point of the house, though, has to be the sandstone patio and new pool area. This is where you will spend most of your time at the Kokopelli. The views seem to go on forever, whether you’re in the pool, hot tub, or seated on one of the comfy chaises on any one of the several levels. There is an outside bar, a large grill, and another refrigerator (making 3 for the house) for your excess beer and wine. All is beautifully landscaped with native desert plants. Sunrise and sunset views from here are epic, as are full moons. The Kokopelli House is extremely comfortable and one of the best rentals I have ever been in. No detail has been overlooked, and everything, including interaction with the owners, has been flawless. Highly recommended. P.S. Don’t miss the Page Rim Trail just below the house, for a sunrise hike."
