"This condo (and the owner) far surpassed my expectations! The photos and descriptions are honest, if not humble and the price is right. The condo is well-furnished and stocked with appliances, nice dishes, pots, pans, all things kitchen, a plethora of tourist information, etc.; everything you imagine you may need is provided. Plus, the "pay it forward" attitude of the previous renters provided many initial essentials for our arrival giving us a chance to catch our breath before shopping. This condo is clean, well-maintained, spacious and beautifully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning coffee and evening wine on the patio, the visiting bunnies, and the peaceful neighborhood. We rented this condo as "headquarters" for our day hiking and it was perfect. The hiking is outstanding (highly recommend the climb up Cathedral Rock and Devil's Bridge for healthy, prepared hikers) and returning to a clean, lovely condo with a pool, hot tub, and comfy beds was a delight. The owner, Pat, even provided the pass we needed to park at the trail heads. The residents are friendly and the grounds are impeccably maintained. Pat, answered her phone promptly every time I called (nagged) and was consistently friendly and very helpful. This place is truly a gem, perfect for a quiet get-away, headquarters for day hikers, or for long distance families to meet and enjoy time together. I hope to someday return! Many, many thanks, Pat!!"

  • Beyond expectations

"This home surpassed everyone's expectations. The décor was beautiful and everything was absolutely first class. We especially enjoyed the kitchen, fireplace in the living room, the barbecue, and the hot tub. Plenty of elbow room for the eight of us. The grandkids liked the high-speed Wi-Fi. The location was perfect to avoid traffic jams around and in Sedona. We explored Oak Creek Canyon and the whole area by car, hiked several trails, spent a day gawking at the Grand Canyon, and rode horseback. For really lucky people, there will be a little snow and spectacular photo opportunities when the sun comes out. The owner is very accessible and accommodating."

  • A Great Placefor Outdoor Lovers

"We spent the month of January in Sedona Serenity and were pleasantly surprised by the perfect location for “off the beaten path” hiking, which was one of our top priorities. Not only is Red Rock Crossing Park—one of the pictures in the VRBO listing—close by (and it does get somewhat busy, especially on weekends), but also several national forest trails that have beautiful views (note: VIEWS, not actual access to the trailheads) of Cathedral Rock, Courthouse Butte, and Bell Rock are right out the front door. The casita is located on the west side of Sedona, which we considered a blessing—the “quiet side.” Most other rentals we had considered are located closer to Oak Creek Village, on the opposite side of Sedona, which is a busier location. So we were thrilled to find that we had chosen the less touristy side of town so that we could find peace on the hiking trails and allow our dogs off leash with some of the very nice neighbors’ dogs. One day we hiked from the casita to the Airport Loop Trail—approximately 7 miles round trip—so you can, if you are interested, hike into Sedona from the casita. If you are adventurous, you can also, if you choose to cross the cold Oak Creek, hike Cathedral Rock from this side; my partner crossed Oak Creek (and admitted his feet were quite cold) and absolutely loved his steep hike up Cathedral Rock for a stellar view. We loved the location, and we loved working with Linda. This casita is not for those who want pavement or an “in town” experience. It is a great choice for travelers with dogs and/or those who want to experience the great outdoors in peace and solitude without getting in your car. PROS --Lovely landlord. Linda was so helpful and friendly yet respectful of our space. --Quiet and dog-friendly. Dog-friendly neighborhood within 50 yards of Coconino National Forest hiking. Miles of hiking trails outside your door on which dogs can run off leash far from any traffic. The backyard is completely fenced and safe; our dogs loved it. --The casita is well stocked with core supplies, full kitchenware, toiletry items, and thoughtful little things like dog treats and tweezers for cacti spines! --You are adjacent to Linda’s other rental unit, but it is a big unit with a completely separate yard, ho"

  • Never need to leave here

"This was a home perfectly suited for our girls' trip, but I could see family here, too. Easy to find with written directions to augment GPS, this hideaway held magic. The views from the three balconies were enough to keep 5 of us at peace, and feeling very relaxed. All bedrooms were accommodating and appointed. Not the most well-appointed kitchen, but we did find everything to meet our needs. Bring your own condiments, stop aqt the grocery store, and you will never need to leave. The hot tub was used regularly, and the pool would have been. There were some light bulbs out here and there, and it would have been nice to have had more information on where the appropriate switches were for outdoor lighting near the pool. We don't think the pool filter was operating well, but we also didn't need the pool much. And Kate and her team were very responsive to our questions during our stay. All in all, GREAT location - I would stay here again, for sure. The path down toward the creek was exciting - I wish I had had a walking stick as the path was sometimes steep, and I'm not that steady...."
