  • Quiet and Comfortable Home

"Our family of four traveled to Sedona for the mountain biking. This house was perfect for us--we could easily bike to great trails right from the house and the garage was large enough for our Suburban and all our bikes, so we could keep them safe while not in use. The house was very comfortable and surprisingly spacious. It had everything we possibly needed, including a laundry room, two bathrooms (one for the teenaged boys), and comfortable seating in the living room. It's an extremely quiet area; we never heard our neighbors, although people who walked by as we were preparing to head out biking were always very friendly. We wound up staying in every evening--it was so easy to cook there and really a comfortable place to relax. We would definitely rent this place again if we return to Sedona."

  • Epic, awesome, magical...

"Epic, awesome, magical. The Cliff house residence in my opinion is the only place to stay in Sedona. From the location right down to the top quality appliances, this home is beyond belief. The Cliff house made our visit spectacular, transcending our lodging experience from merely a place to lay our heads to the star of the show. When you make your first turn onto Upper Red Rock Loop Road you know you're in a special place, as you wind down the short drive to the gated Cliff house driveway the scenic vistas reveal themselves like aces in a poker hand. You've won the lottery! If you want to experience an energy vortex in Sedona, one is just moments away. Everything you came to Sedona for is right within your grasp from the Cliff house, sunrise, sunsets, hiking, oak creek, red rocks, energy vortexes, star gazing, the history of the surrounding area. It's all right here. This is a 5 Star Rental! The three bedrooms, bathrooms & kitchen are all nicely appointed, there is a nice stereo system that allows you to plug your ipod or watch the large flat screen with surround sound. The living room and dining room are wonderfully lit with natural sunlight between two massive sliding windows that allow you to not only look at the landscape but live "in" the landscape while inside. I found the property so magnificently designed that as the conditions change during the day & night, all the outdoor spaces and four different decks allow you a place to not only stay outside comfortably, but will treat you to some very appealing perspectives. I highly recommend you take advantage of all of them. These are not places built to fill space, but conversely, are specifically designed to help you experience why you came to Sedona. The interactions with the owner & transaction went very smoothly. After our arrival and initial walk through including meeting Charlie and Coko the two very well behaved chocolate labs, it became "our" house and it felt like it! As you can tell, we absolutely loved the place and highly recommend it. After driving around for a couple of days "searching for Sedona", we finally found it right next to our flip flops one evening while watching a sunset from the deck & wondering how many we had missed while waiting for a table with a "view". The next morning (after coffee on the deck of course), we proceeded down to Whole Foods and Basha's (the "locals" super markets) stocked up and never left the Red Rock loop area again..."

  • Fabulous Girlfriends Weekend

"I just returned from spending 3 nights at the Creek House with 3 high school girlfriends. I had chosen this home as we enjoy privacy, nature and a quiet environment. I have to admit I was a bit worried as we approached the house but once we stepped through the doors I knew I had made the right choice. The house is as described by other reviewers and the patios/decks are incredibly relaxing. We would have used the additional, detached room/building if the 5th person had been able to come. It would not have been a problem to share a bath with someone in the main building as all rooms are so spacious. The homeowner had provided me with great directions, although my GPS continued to refer to the "town" as Rimrock and not Lake Montezuma as the actual address indicates. Although there is not much to the nearby town we did enjoy breakfast at Nikki's which, we were told, is under new management. This local cafe is located right where you exit Route 17. It is on the left side of the road. Don't miss it! From the house we were able to easily access Cottonwood, Jerome and, of course, Sedona. The views driving into Sedona from the south are absolutely spectacular. Be sure to check out the Chapel of the Holy Cross just south of Sedona off of Route 179. More spectacular views. All in all it was a wonderful 3 days with great friends in a fabulous environment. I would definitely recommend the Creek House to others and I hope to return soon, myself."

  • Great location, comfortable home

"Had a lovely stay. The home is very close to everything we wanted, golf, hiking and sightseeing. It had everything that we needed to make our short trip to Sedona comfortable. The owners had gone out of their way to supply great information on the area. We used their information as our guide book to find great eating places and side trips to take. We will certainly try for the house on our next trip."
