  • Wonderful vacation home in Oak Creek

"My wife and I stayed in this beautiful home for the month of April and absolutely loved it. It is located on the 18th hole of the Oak Creek golf course and has magnificent views of the course and red rock buttes behind it. It is far enough from the green that no golf balls ever came near the back yard and we were very comfortable sitting out back enjoying the scenery. We had another couple visit as well as our grown up kids at another time, and all enjoyed the serenity and scenery. The queen sized beds in the 2 master bedrooms were comfortable and our daughter enjoyed the hide a bed single bed in the sunroom. The Village of Oak Creek is a great place to stay. It is a quiet, beautiful community about 5 miles south of Sedona so has all of the charm without being quite so touristy. There is a wonderful selection of hikes and mountain bike rides located in the near area. There are a few crafty shops and coffee shops in Oak Creek within walking distance. There are lots of shops in Sedona if you wish to shop. In our month here we had two days of rainy weather, the rest of the time it was sunny and warm without being exceptionally hot. I don't normally hand out 5 star ratings as it leaves no room for improvement but this house, and the Oak Creek location, exceeded our expectations. Our thanks go out to Sara and Davis for allowing us to share and experience their wonderful home."

  • Excellent location, convenient, quiet, well appointed

"We stayed for two weeks. The location is convenient to freeway access, shopping including grocery and Randall Meats, or the mall. Yet the location is quiet and peaceful. Easy to get to NAU, Milton, or the downtown / historic areas. The house has everything one needs to be comfortable and feel like one is at home away from home. The owners are friendly and work to make the experience easy and simple even for first time users. If one wants to golf, it is just across the street - Continental Golf and Jakes on the Green. A wonderful place to relax if you don't want to relax at the home. Driving Range is just east. The kids club is just a short drive away. Downtown has several local restaurants including Josephine's, Pasto's, Biff's, Macy's, and Martan's. Simply superior to hotel stays and much more comfortable. The subject's parking is very convenient. We highly recommend this two bedroom two bath home in a Country Club setting. Even if you stay for weeks, there will be things you'll miss and want to come back. Easy day trips to Sedona, Sunset Crater, Grand Canyon, petrified Forest, and more."

  • Saw 5 Javelinas!

"Gil and Carol, We had the best time enjoying Thanksgiving at your heavenly haven. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the new Whole Foods must have loved how much $$$ we spent there, hah!!! We never expected to see the elusive Javelinas, but our dinner aroma attracted them the first night (of course, we knew better than to share it with them). We also saw them again while the family took a moonlit walk to the trailhead of "Thunder Mountain." The jeep tour guide told one of us that Walt was inspired by this mountain…wonder if the teapot ride was also inspired here! He also said that he has never seen a Javelina in the 5 years that he has lived in Sedona. The sunset walks were worth lugging a flashlight to get home, but the trails were marked so well that we didn't even need. We will treasure all of the scenic photographs and the memories of some hilarious board games we played (while everyone was forced to wear matching pajamas that were part of the pre-Christmas gifts). We didn't feel any vortex vibes, but we did feel the love we all have for each other. Thanks for sharing your beautiful house with strangers and enabling us to see your amazing Sedona in style! Hope your Christmas holidays are wonderful. Best Regards!"

  • Great Location and Pet Friendly

"My husband, my mother, my dog and I stayed in this condo for two months (Nov-Jan). It was perfect for all of us! No steps or stairs for my 84 year old mom with a new knee, and the owner is a dog lover who was comfortable with us having our dog for that period of time. The location, in the Village of Oak Creek, worked for us and when we visited Sedona for church, souvenir shopping, etc. we traveled one of America's most scenic roadways through the magnificent Red Rocks along Rt. 179. My hubby and I hiked 8 different trails during our time and really enjoyed the surroundings. Canyon Mesa Country Club is meticulously well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped although a new stove should be considered. Any small problems that came up were quickly handled by Pat N., the owner's property mgr. The price is certainly reasonable for the Sedona area. This was a perfect place for those of us with mobility issues and/or pets. We plan on returning."
