  • Wonderful house and owners!

"This home was everything we expected and more. The hosts Sherri and Chuck were very pleasant to work with. They met us at the door and showed us all the features of the house. My two brothers and I stayed 6 nights, and we had more than enough room in this modern, spacious home. The pool table was extra fun to have at the end of a day of hiking. One day we drove to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, which was only 1 and 1/2 hours away. We would strongly recommend this home to anyone planning to stay in Flagstaff!"

  • Relaxing, welcoming, beautiful setting in the forest near Flagstaff

"My family gathered here for Thanksgiving week. We had a great time exploring trails both right from the house and others around Flagstaff, visiting Grand Canyon and seeing a bit of the town. The home itself is so comfortable and inviting with its fireplace, spacious rooms, and large windows filled with views of meadows and Ponderosa pines that our very best times were spent right there. We easily cooked an entire Thanksgiving meal in the well-equipped kitchen and spent hours relaxing by the fireplace. Owner was very good assisting as we got ourselves oriented - available but also gave us our own space. Just the right touch. My daughter's dog was welcomed, and several friends came and went, easily accommodated in the huge upstairs sleeping space. We hope to return to see this great place in other times of the year."

  • Comfortable, quiet home

"Our family just returned from a week's stay in this house. We were right at home there from the start. We like to travel this way, staying in a home and having breakfast in our pjs if we want. Our 2 boys really appreciated the grassy back yard, the cute tree house, walking to a nearby park, and having their own rooms. We all slept well and found the house and neighborhood quiet. For those who like to cook we should warn that while the kitchen is well stocked, it is an older, one person kitchen and a little cramped if you don't take turns. We mostly did cook our own meals, however, the owners provided many takeout menus for those who would rather not bother. The house isn't fancy, or a "luxury rental" but it is exactly as advertised, a nice house with most everything you need, and a good getaway for a good price. The location worked well for getting into town or out to the national monuments. The owners communicated with us in writing, and while there were occasional short delays in emailing, were very kind and friendly and always responsive when needed. We would stay again! Thanks for providing such a great place."
