  • beautiful spot

"Our family of four adult children along with several partners joined my husband and me to celebrate my birthday and have a get together in this lovely home. The house is situated at the top of a steep hill and is private, spacious and comfortable with a number of outdoor gathering spaces offering beautiful views. The bedrooms were all comfortable and beautifully furnished. We have several serious cooks in the family who enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and found it quite well equipped. The hikers and mountain bikers in our group found spectacularly beautiful trails to enjoy, and after an day of physical activity it was great to return to the house for a hot tub or a dip in the pool. We hope very much to return for another visit."

  • Lovely residential retreat in West Sedona

"This condo is located in a quiet residential area in West Sedona and close to anything you would need such as coffee shops, grocery store, restaurants, tourist information center, etc. The condo is equipped with everything you might need such as cookware, a washer and dryer, flat screen TV, and a lovely little patio area with a nice patio table, cushioned chairs, and an umbrella. It is very close to Dry Creek Rd. and all of the hiking trails in that area, but also within easy driving distance to uptown Sedona and Oak Creek. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with. We would definitely stay again when we return to Sedona."

  • Ideal central location

"My father and I stayed here for 4 nights. The chalet was very clean and had all the comforts of home. Much better than staying in any motel. We flew into the Phoenix airport and rented a car for 10 days. Was only a 2 hr drive to Flagstaff. This chalet was the perfect central location for us since we wanted to see more than just the Grand Canyon, though that was the highlight of our trip. However, Sedona was gorgeous and only an hour drive away. Wonderful shopping there and reasonable jeep tours. Oak Creek Canyon was beautiful on the way to Sedona and had numerous sites for our picnic lunch. Forest area along the creek was shaded and peacefully relaxing. Would not stay in Sedona since it was very crowded with tourists. We also drove to the Wupatki loop/Sunset Crater volcano area. This was also only a little over an hour drive to reach, and was so very peaceful, uncrowded and amazingly beautiful. We drove to Cameron to the Navaho reservation area and had a wonderful dinner there at the Cameron village and trading post restaurant, also only an hour drive from Flagstaff. This was also a great place to pick up souvenirs, jewelry, etc.! My father and I were able to see so many sites, and even though he could not do the hiking, we were able to enjoy so much from this location. But there are countless hiking trails at all of these locations we drove to if one wanted to further explore the area. We went on up to the Grand Canyon Railway hotel and did the train ride into the canyon. This was very pricey and really not worth it. I would not include the train ride again, since you don't see any more scenery on the train than we did when we took our rental car up the next day for a night at the Bright Angel Lodge on the Rim. Which was amazing!! A MUST DO! We drove from the Grand Canyon on down to Vegas for a couple of nights and turned our rental in there. Other than the train ride into the Grand Canyon, I wouldn't change a thing from our trip, and recommend staying at the Hoop Dancer. Did need to stagger showers since hot water did not last long, therefore 4 stars. It was nice to relax after our day trips and even build a fire at the end of the day as it was just chilly enough to enjoy this along with a cup of coffee from the amazingly well-stocked kitchen. Walmart is withing 10 mins, and also Outback Steakhouse and Cracker Barrel. Look for the beautiful stained glass door on this unit, as the unit numbers are harder to see at night."

  • Spectacular views, very private, very comfortable

"We needed to escape the long harsh northeast winter and Sedona and in particular Fran's villa was the perfect getaway. This unit is in a very private location but within easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Hillside Sedona. Fran has seen to it that her unit is well stocked and the furniture and bedding are top quality. You will never tire of the beautiful views from the deck and you can lie in bed at night and watch the night sky fill with stars. It is only a 3 minute ride to the very popular Tlaquepaque center with beautiful galleries and several restaurants. We enjoyed dinners out at The Barking Frog, Oak Creek Brewery and Javilina Cantina (a 5 minute walk from the unit) We wanted to visit the Grand Canyon and found the Grand Canyon Railway out of Williams AZ ( little more than an hours drive) to be a very relaxing way to get to and from the awe inspiring Grand Canyon. One last thing, this unit is exceptionally clean. We loved our stay at Casa Bella Vista and highly recommend Fran and this unit to anyone looking for a place to call home while visiting Sedona"
