  • A great place to stay for a family

"The cabin and location are excellent. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you need. The loft was perfect for the two boys who considered it their hideaway. The inside of the cabin is great and we loved the fireplace on the cold nights. The cabin is well maintained and has up to date appliances. The area is located with easy access to all downtown and all the outdoor activities in Sunrise. We would recommend this cabin for families who really want a family vacation."

  • Great Place for the 4th of July!

"We had a wonderful time staying here over the 4th of July weekend. The Christopher Creek neighborhood does its own little golf cart parade through the streets. We enjoyed sitting at the end of the driveway and watching all the action. We did spend most of our time sitting on the deck watching all the squirrels and children playing in the creek. Having a full kitchen made meal planning very easy. This is a wonderful place to sit back and relax. Only a few mile from several different lakes as well. Will definitely visit again!"

  • Embraced by nature

"We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the accommodations at Cabin in the Pines. It allowed us to experience nature (birds, elk, deer, wolf) right from the cabin porch. It also is located near our favorite stomping grounds on the Rim. There are a few things of special note about this cabin: 1. We have NEVER in all the times we have rented cabins found bedding that was actually as clean as at this cabin. The pillows and blankets were as fresh as the nicely ironed sheets. (Most often we have ended up washing sheets prior to using a place and avoiding their "stinky" pillows!) 2. The furniture was very comfortable which added to a relaxing stay. 3. Having a noon check out allowed us to gather things in the morning without wasting the day before to pack. 4. Having a fenced yard for our 2 dogs was great. There was no need to worry about them running off to chase some "critter" (albeit it animal or human!). 5. The cabin is well stocked with all the cooking conveniences one would need. And, lastly, 6. The decor was pleasant and tasteful both inside and out. We particularly liked all the little unique birdhouses set up in the trees throughout the yard. We had a perfect view from the porch of a couple of western bluebirds nesting in one of the houses. We appreciate the owners for sharing their cabin. Don was very accommodating and pleasant to work with."
