"Our visit started rather ominously. We entered and found a note saying that the water heater was broken and would be repaired in the morning. And it was. In fact, it was replaced. So we were good to go. We met Cyndi (the owner) several times during our monthlong visit. She is a very friendly lady and we enjoyed getting to know her. The house is delightful, though having the idiosyncrasies associated with a place about 100 years old. We were pleased to have air conditioning since some days were very warm for Prescott. However, we still enjoyed sitting out on the porch in the afternoon and evenings. The cottage is only two blocks from a small shopping center with a grocery store, Walgreens and Starbucks and only six blocks from Whiskey Row. There are many good restaurants in the area. Overall, it is a delightful place in a great location and we definitely plan to stay here again."

"My 2 young daughters and I had a wonderful time in this cabin for a 3 day weekend. It was quiet and relaxing and no further amenities were required. It was also close to Pine, Strawberry, Tonto Natural Bridge, the Pine Trailhead, and Fossil Creek. We rode our bikes into town a few times and I ran a beautiful, hilly 4 mile loop using Bradshaw Dr. every morning. I think no internet and no TV is a PLUS, not a drawback. Please keep this cabin relatively "screen free" and I will surely be back!"

"This home and all it has to offer was perfect for our family! We walked to the National Forest just around the corner and hiked and geocached, we enjoyed the Fossil Creek Creamery, the Honey Stand, local museums and shops, played pool every afternoon, hiked and geocached from the nearby Pine Trailhead and along FR 300. We grilled dinner on the deck in the evenings and watched the sky for shooting stars. What a fabulous home, our teen son and his friend were never bored and want to return! The nearby Ponderosa Market has a great bakery and was so convenient for those few items we wanted to pick up. Highly recommend!"

"We recently stayed at this cabin. I have 2 boys ages 12 and 8 and they had a wonderful time exploring the huge yard (forest). It was the perfect get away. The cabin was clean and perfectly equipped for all of our needs. We will definitely stay here again!!"
