  • Cabin in residential neighborhood, nice hot tub

"This is located in a nice neighborhood near the country club. Great location for most, but the lots were very small and not what I was hoping for with our big dogs. It's an older cabin and we enjoyed the feel of a rustic cabin. Although there are some things that could be updated like the wall heaters in the bathroom and the charcoal grills. We couldn't BBQ because of the fire restrictions and the neighbor informed us of the regulation. We were a bit disappointed because we couldn't grill or roast marshmellows for S'mores. There are only 2 bedrooms and a loft. All have a queen bed and the loft also has a futon, but no privacy for a 3rd couple. Also the bedroom door didn't close in one of the downstairs bedrooms and there were an abundance of ants in the upstairs bathroom. The steak knives weren't very sharp, several of the skillets were warped and there was only 1 wine glass - that is a big disappointment for wine drinkers! Wine doesn't taste the same out of a tumbler! LOL The hot tub is definitely a nice addition to this cabin. It has lovely windows and lighting inside and out to enhance the experience. We really enjoyed it. The neighbors are few during the week and the area definitely fills up on the weekend."

  • My best vacation yet

"I rented the cabin for three nights in January as a winter getaway from work in Phoenix -- nice to get some real winter weather. I'd never been up to the Heber-Overgaard area. This time of year, we practically had the resort to ourselves. The interior is cozy and comfortable, the back is nice and private, and the hot tub was perfect. Relaxing, quiet, and close to some beautiful hiking trails. Excellent for a romantic getaway or small party, and quite affordable."

  • Perfect location, warm comfortable historical home

"We were 3 +55 couples staying for 2 nights to enjoy the town, hike and mtn bike. We rented both houses and they were very comfortable, very charming and had all the amenities we needed. We had no complaints except that the wifi needed a password that we didn't receive til after we checked out. Not a biggie. Town is a short couple blocks away where we enjoyed the Whiskey row and all the antique shops. A short drive brings you to any major store you could imagine. There is hiking and biking very near by and the choices are endless. The history of Prescott is very interesting and this historical home was a bonus. The owner of the home contacted us before arrival and allowed us to check in early and check out a bit late. We very much appreciated that. If we were to come back again we would absolutely stay at either one of these homes."

  • Luxury Place To Stay Is An Understatement!!!

"We've stayed at a few cabins. This cabin by far was the best. Very clean, great amenities, the entire cabin has been upgraded. Check out the photos. Very accurate. Owner very nice and responsive. Not only will stay again, but have no need to look anywhere else!!! My family felt like we were in a five star cabin. If you like Mexican food. I recommend a place called El Rancho. I had the Fajitas. It is only five minutes from the cabin."
