  • Awesome place

"My family really enjoyed the house. There was plenty of room for us and it was stocked with coffee, sugar, creamer, spices galore, etc. A beautiful location and more. We would recommend this place for a family vacation. Thanks Nancy!"

  • Overall Good

"We visited the cabin in September 2014 with another family. We had four adults and eight children. The room off the loft is definitely large enough to sleep several (2 on bed and we put two on the floor with an air mattress), plus a baby in a pack & play - we all fit! :) Things we loved: The view is beautiful. The access to horseshoes and volleyball was great for the kids as well as plenty of space to roam. Though other cabins are nearby, you definitely have your own space! The kids also enjoyed the fuse ball table in the loft. The deck is beautiful and nice place to relax. (The inside gets warm due to the windows at certain points of the day - but you'd miss the views if covered - a mixed blessing!) Things we weren't thrilled about: Though we paid additionally for each of our people, we were short on linens - by two beds. (We thoroughly checked all cabinets!) Thankfully we told our friends to throw some sleeping bags in their truck "Just in case". The level of cleanliness was not what we expected considering each visitor pays for cleaning for the next. It was not horrible by any means, but the upstairs bathroom needs a lot of attention in the tub and in general - lots of dusting is needed. Overall it was a good visit with plenty to do for the kids and a nice place to relax for the adults. The cabin was well maintained and owners were good communicators."

  • Blue Moon Cottage is an absolute gem!

"We recently spent the weekend at the Blue Moon Cottage and I have to say it was one of the most relaxing, special weekends we've ever had. Leigh, (the owner), is just wonderful and has a terrific personality. She is very responsive and really goes out of her way to make her guests feel welcome. The cottage was incredibly charming and better than I had envisioned. The décor is fun and reflects Leigh's artistic personality. The views of the mountains and surrounding area are spectacular from the balcony. We loved it so much we had a hard time leaving! We are very grateful to Leigh for sharing her cottage and little treasure in Jerome. There is nothing else like it available in the area and I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else when visiting. Blue Moon Cottage gave us the privacy, views and comforts that we were looking for. I can't wait to visit again!"

  • too much fun!!!!

"Roxanne, Thank you for your hospitality and your quick response to our request on such short notice.Your cabin was everything you reported it to be and more .If anyone is looking for a cabin in the woods with perfect solitude look no further this is it .The pictures of this log cabin cabin do it an injustice,it is far more than its description. The cabin is close to shopping (grocery and tourist)and also within 45 minutes of some of the most beautiful hikes in the white mtns.Thank you Roxanne for making this a wonderful 3 days and I look forward to staying at your home again.Greg"
