"We have traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and have availed ourselves of the VRBO site many times. We can honestly say that this was the best experience ever! We spent the month of April, 2015 here, and were delighted with everything it had to offer. The pictures do not come anywhere close to doing it justice. Everything we could possibly need or want was available to us. All the amenities of home, and then some. We were impressed with the quietness. No traffic noise, no loud neighbors, just peace and quiet. Barbara and Ernie were excellent landlords, and were available for any and all questions, of which there were few. The clubhouse was amazing, although we spent little time there, as we were so busy exploring the area. It was actually a fact finding mission for us, with the possibility of retirement in that region in the future. Trips to the Grand Canyon, Old Tucson and Jerome were easily within reach. The amenities were numerous. Barbara and Ernie really did think of everything--even a sewing kit, a first aid kit and a binder containing information on all of the appliances, etc. The home was in close proximity to many restaurants, shopping centers, and not far from the town square which we visited often. This would definitely be out first choice for a great place to stay should we have such a need in the future. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation!!"

"The property of this cabin is very private and feels secluded. It's a beautiful wintertime setting although it was a bit challenging to drive from Phoenix as the snow was accumulating. 4WD is a must if it snows.
If you want a quiet, comfortable, secluded getaway, this is it! The kitchen and bathroom have been renovated and are modern while the cabin has an overall feel of rustic, historic charm. The gas fireplace on one end and stone wood burning fireplace on the other end of the cabin kept us toasty warm. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The queen bed was comfortable. There was a TV/VCR combo (couldn't get reception but that was fine by us) and a decent video library as well as book library. Bring games and enjoy life without internet - my Verizon phone had no internet service but good phone and texting connections in the cabin. Bring everything you need because there's no grocery store, although there is a small convenient store and gas station in town. There is a good restaurant but it has limited hours. We enjoyed cooking and grilling meals at the cabin.
It was a wonderfully relaxing 3-day getaway location with my significant other and dachshund. Many, many thanks to the property manager for her assistance in helping us navigate the winter driving conditions on day of arrival and accommodating us when the pipes froze for a short while. (We learned to let the water trickle from the faucet at night.) It was so comforting to know we had a good contact in this remote area in case we needed assistance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return."

"Third visit to this beautiful home. Luxurious, while still cozy and comfortable. Plenty of room, great deck, quiet neighborhood, close to the golf course and other activities. Owner especially nice to work with. Takes great pride in maintenance of the home."
