  • Short Getaway

"A nice place close to town. It was very nice and clean. I would not recommend it for little kids though. There's not much floor space for them to run around. We enjoyed the wood burning stove, but once the little ones got there, we could no longer use it. The only negative was that the dining room chairs had little to no padding. You kind of sank when you sat down. It's a good adult short get away spot. Would definitely go there again."

  • Perfect Location - Attention to Detail - Outstanding Customer Service

"The Bird's Nest Hideaway is a private condo/apt near downtown Prescott. Beth, who rents the space, as a sweet local woman who has put a great amount of thought and detail into this rental. This is like a vacation home - fully equipped kitchen (cookware, silverware, plateware, etc), relaxing patio, charming environment, fireplace, and a generally pleasant atmosphere to stay in. For the same price (or less) as most hotels in the area, I highly recommend the Bird's Nest Hideaway for your next stay in Prescott (if it is available). You will not regret it!"

  • Best Cabin Experience EVERY

"We rent cabins in the Payson area all the time, and this cabin is by far the best. We had three families, and there were plenty of rooms and beds for everyone. The amenities were unexpected with a ton of games and toys for the kids, a netted trampoline, and a patio/deck that is beyond words. It was 30+ degrees outside, but with an outdoor fireplace and heaters, the patio was amazing. The owner of the cabin was so attentive to make sure all was going okay. We can't wait to go back."

"We rented this cabin for a weekend away from it all and had a FANTASTIC time. My daughters are teens, and we also foster two little girls, 4 and 6. The older ones wanted to 'feel like we're out in the woods' and we chose Whispering Pines. We never had the tv or computer on once, and the teens had left their cellphones at home. What a relaxing time we had; campfires, walks both up the road and in the dry creek bed, hikes to Waterwheel Waterfall, the ruins, and trips to the fish hatchery, Fossil Creek Creamery and Pine. We also lounged and read in the comfy chairs on the large fully-covered deck. The 4 and 6 year olds wanted to be outside in the yard the entire time. The cabin had fresh linens, comfortable beds and clean bathrooms and kitchen. The kitchen had the basics covered. We just planned a simple menu and brought all we needed so no trips to the grocery store. The cabin was very comfortable and relaxing for us, without being super-fancy, very family-friendly. Oh, did I mention the dogs had a great time also? I crated them on the porch, when we would leave the cabin and couldn't take them, and at night, as they are inside/outside dogs when at home in Phoenix. They loved to roll and play in the grass, being from a dirt 1 1/4 acre yard here at home. They are all about 40lbs, and the youngest tried to get through the metal gate but one rattle of it and she decided to leave it alone the rest of the weekend. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your cabin. We will rent again!"
