  • Already planning our return...

"My family and I stayed at Anita's Creekside Haven for 3 nights this past week and had a wonderful time. The house is clean, cozy and has a lot of space to spread out in. The kitchen is large and has everything you need to make a complete meal, which we did several times. Forget the inside for a moment because it is the outside, specifically the rear deck that sets this house apart. It is HUGE and runs the entire length of the house. The creek runs by just below the deck, maybe 15' to 20' away. We spent most of our time here listening to the creek and watching the birds and squirrels. The fire pit was very nice during the chilly autumn nights. Speaking of autumn, the trees all around the property and neighborhood were a palette of colors that no artist could recreate. This is the place to come for fall foliage. The house is a perfect base for outdoor exploration. We fished at the nearby lakes of Woods Canyon and Willow Springs. We went on several hikes including the See Spring Trail which goes to the headwaters of Christopher Creek. Anita's Creekside Haven was a great place to come "home" to after these adventures and we will definitely be back. Thanks Anita!"

  • Great house!

"We had 3 families stay in this house and it was wonderful! With each room having it's own bathroom, we never felt crowded and had plenty of space to relax. The large kitchen made meal planning nice and we enjoyed lounging on the huge front deck. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The house decor was warm and inviting and we will definitely be renting here again!"

  • Great get-away!

"We stayed at Little Red for my son's 12th bday weekend at the beginning of OCT. We had a great time. The cabin was very suitable for myself, my husband, son and our lab dog. Has 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds, living room (not so comfortable couch but we were outdoors most of the time enjoying the cooler weather up there) wrap around deck and fenced in back yard. The kitchen was small but fully equipped. Very easy to access from the 260. It was a great value and for sure are making plans to return. Thanks again Maureen for making this easy and letting us stay at Little Red. :)"

  • Cabin in residential neighborhood, nice hot tub

"This is located in a nice neighborhood near the country club. Great location for most, but the lots were very small and not what I was hoping for with our big dogs. It's an older cabin and we enjoyed the feel of a rustic cabin. Although there are some things that could be updated like the wall heaters in the bathroom and the charcoal grills. We couldn't BBQ because of the fire restrictions and the neighbor informed us of the regulation. We were a bit disappointed because we couldn't grill or roast marshmellows for S'mores. There are only 2 bedrooms and a loft. All have a queen bed and the loft also has a futon, but no privacy for a 3rd couple. Also the bedroom door didn't close in one of the downstairs bedrooms and there were an abundance of ants in the upstairs bathroom. The steak knives weren't very sharp, several of the skillets were warped and there was only 1 wine glass - that is a big disappointment for wine drinkers! Wine doesn't taste the same out of a tumbler! LOL The hot tub is definitely a nice addition to this cabin. It has lovely windows and lighting inside and out to enhance the experience. We really enjoyed it. The neighbors are few during the week and the area definitely fills up on the weekend."
