"This cabin was luxurious while keeping a cabin feel. The decor was really well done. Even the utensils were country. Was just me and my girlfriend but we want to bring people back to take advantage of the huge dining area. They have a huge selection of DVDs to watch if you get bored and board games too. There's wildlife the comes right onto the property! I didn't see any elk but did catch a glimpse of a small black bear! The owners were really nice and gave me good directions and recommendations for places to eat and hike. We checked out two places the recommended to us clear creak and blue ridge reservoir and they were both nice. We found a brewery in Pine called "That Brewery" that was really amazing. I would highly recommend this cabin!"

"We had a quick little family get-away (get away from the heat in Tucson) and really really loved the cabin and our little vacation. It had everything we needed and was very clean! Only spoke with owner through email but he was very helpful and quick to respond. Highly recommend!!!"

"We planned a last-minute trip to the White Mountains, and Steve, the owner, was so quick and prompt in responding and getting everything to us for our stay. He also provides great "Notes for your stay" with many things to do and places to eat with great directions. The cabin is definitely not your grandma's cabin with 1970's furniture. Everything has been remodeled, with tasteful decor and furniture, nice dishes and updated appliances. The location is also wonderful. Right up the street from a nice corner market, and Charlie Clark's which we think the bar is the best part. About 30-40 minutes from the ski slopes, where we spent most of our time.
Definitely a cabin to consider for your stay."

"Came here for a long weekend with my wife and dog. The area is nice and quiet. We enjoyed the great views out the high windows at the vaulted ceilings which helped make the place very spacious and cooler. The kitchen is well stocked with practically anything you could think of to cook with, and also with lots of spices, but sadly lacking in salt and pepper. When we called Susan asking about coffee creamer, she was nice enough to have Louann, who keeps up the place, stop by with creamers as Susan was out of town.
The deck was great for relaxing and enjoying the sound of the water on the rocks. My dog enjoyed being on the deck too and was in no danger of running away as it is well enclosed--good for kids, too.
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom well-appointed with a shower.
Only thing...if you have issues with stairs, the stairs are steep.
