  • My best vacation yet

"I rented the cabin for three nights in January as a winter getaway from work in Phoenix -- nice to get some real winter weather. I'd never been up to the Heber-Overgaard area. This time of year, we practically had the resort to ourselves. The interior is cozy and comfortable, the back is nice and private, and the hot tub was perfect. Relaxing, quiet, and close to some beautiful hiking trails. Excellent for a romantic getaway or small party, and quite affordable."

  • Wonderful place to stay!

"We spent a month in this cabin and had a great experience. It is as described and better. We enjoyed using the grill. There are two porches so we could sit in the shade no matter the time of the day. Three quarters of a mile away along Airpark Road is a gate leading to paths in the forest. We used this to go on daily hikes with our dog. It was great having a garage to keep our vehicles in during hail storms. Days when it did not rain and the temperature got up to 90, it was nice to have air conditioning. As mentioned in another comment, there is traffic noise but coming from Scottsdale we didn't mind it. Some mornings there were some early planes taking off that were rather noisy and woke us up but that was usually on weekends. It was nice having speakers on the porches so we could enjoy our Beatles singing on CDs. It is very roomy and comfortable with a great kitchen. We would recommend it to our friends."

  • Great Stay!

"This was a wonderful cabin to stay and relax in while getting away from temperatures 30 degrees warmer in Phoenix. Nice quiet community. The cabin has everything needed for your stay just bring your food and drink and you are set."

  • Great cabin

"We went for the week of Christmas, it was cold outside but the cabin has so much space we did not mind staying inside at the fire. Cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated. Very close drive from Phoenix, we really enjoyed our stay and would like to visit again."
