  • Sierra Pines Cabin was great!

"From the first contact with Robert to the final day of our stay was about as perfect as anyone could ask for. Robert provided perfect and clear instructions that were very helpful when arriving in the evening. My two brothers and I went to visit my parents in Show Low for a week and had the pleasure of staying in Roberts beautiful home. Very nice personal touch is well equipped throughout, linens, kitchen utensils etc. High open beam ceilings, nice fireplace, great deck with BBQ, master bath has a nice Jacuzzi tub, across is a gorgeous shower. Nice privacy yet 5 minutes to town, very good access roads. Everything we were hoping for and more! I intend on using again and would highly recommend for anyone’s needs for a great getaway! JM"

  • Perfect Local

"We came up from the valley for a wedding and had 3 couples total at this property. It was a great location just off the downtown area, close to hiking, biking trails and kayaking. This place had everything we needed and more. The next time we come up to Prescott we hope this home is available because it's the only VRBO we will stay at."

  • Nice Get Away !

"Owner Rachael Oesterle did a great job in her complete renovation and restoration of this Cottage. She is easy to work with and committed in making your stay most memorable and enjoyable. She furnished this house with new furniture, flooring, appliances and bedding that made for a very comfortable stay. The tv could be larger in size, but there were plenty of time spent outdoors that made up for time spent watching tv. The outside plantings, water fountain, and front yard floral garden made sitting on porch in the early mornings and evenings so relaxing. We stayed two weeks and brought our two puppies on their first getaway vacation. Cooler temperatures and greeness of the surrounding neighborhood made for a nice get away for us and our puppies. Downtown is very pet friendly. Although you have your own private driveway we recommend you park in the street as there can be very busy traffic on Mt Vernon Avenue, which is lined with many wonderfully renovated Historic homes and close to town square and Whiskey Row. We plan to stay entire month 2015."

  • Wonderful!

"Our family had a wonderful vacation. The property is just as described. It was clean and decorated nicely. The pictures do not do it justice. We especially appreciated the fenced in yard since we had little children with us. We spent a day at Woodland Lake Park which is nearby, went to the Show Low 4th of July parade and Fireworks. We would recommend this property."

Best Time of Year to Visit Arizona Vacation Rentals

Arizona is a state that is known for its warm climate. Even in the winter months, you can enjoy warm sunshine almost every day. The north central part of Arizona is at an altitude of between 2,000 and 3,000 meters; because of this, seasonal temperatures are milder than in other parts of Arizona. This means that during the summertime, you can enjoy a wide variety of activities without feeling as though you will get scorched by the summer sun. You still need to have adequate sun protection of hats and sunscreen and make sure you drink plenty of water. Towards the end of summer, from July to mid-September, you can expect the occasional thunderstorm. The winter months are relatively short-lived, lasting only a month or two from November through December. Daytime temperatures can still be pleasantly warm but after the sun sets, the temperatures can plummet to below freezing. Ideally, you should dress in layers so you are not caught unprepared for the sudden temperature changes. Some snowfalls can occur in winter. Spring runs from January to April, and is one of the most pleasant seasons to visit. Fall season is also particularly beautiful as the turning leaves blend in with the red rock landscapes.
