  • The location and house really worked for what we needed

"My wife and I came from the UK because of medical reasons and not a holiday like most of the other reviews. We were somewhat anxious as this is our second time we used vrbo but in Europe was our first experience and not in the U.S. We picked the home because we knew if was close to two Mayo clinics (their north location is ten minutes and Scottsdale location is about 10 minutes) and Barrows Neurological Institute (also ten minutes) and it looked well appointed and modern in the photos. We ate mostly at the house because of my diet restrictions but we noted many restaurants in the area. Also there are huge grocery stores (comparing to the UK) with large selections that includes wine and alcohol too. We shopped a lot at Whole Foods that was around the corner due to their large organic selection. We did not use the pool much except the nice grilling area. Still it was nice and quiet to sit next to the pool each night outside after a day of being in clinics. There is a view of the mountains from the back yard and the outside is quiet with birds that greet you in the morning all sitting in a line on the west wall. The house has top amenities and was far superior to staying in any hotel. Terry really went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Terry has a colleague working at Barrows and he met us there when we checked in for our first day of appointments. We really appreciated that. My recovery is continuing and we hope to return to Arizona some time and visit this time as a tourist. We would stay again at this home and recommend it without hesitation."

  • Perfect!

"We stayed four nights with our two children, ages 11 & 14 at this great townhouse. The house was immaculate and had everything we need to make our stay comfortable. I will never stay in a hotel again! The location is perfect. Thank you! We will be back."

  • Wonderful,comfortable home

"This was the first time we have stayed in a private home for our vacation and it was a wonderful experience. Deborah's home was spotless, every convenience that you would have at your own home is there, and the beds were very comfortable. The shady lanai is wonderful for breakfast and a relaxing afternoon snack. Day trips, such as to Sedona, Prescott, and Scottsdale are within easy driving distance, plus Deborah provides great recommendations for restaurants. We will rent again and highly recommend this home to others."
