"We rented this home for the month of July and felt instantly 'at home' from the minute we walked in the front door. This is a very beautifully furnished property with all the amenities you could wish for. The front door opens up on to the living room and dining room, both very tastefully decorated. The entire back wall has a view to the pool, and includes a double door leading to the patio/pool area.
The kitchen is spacious, complete with large pantry (partially stocked), and the appliances are all modern. With a large island in the middle, this was a kitchen fit for a cook of any skill level. Next to the kitchen is an informal dining area, perfect for those quick meals. And beyond that is the family room with magic furniture that lulls you to sleep almost as soon as you settle in.
The three bedrooms are very comfortable, with the master bedroom exceeding expectations. A very comfy king-size bed, plus a very plush sitting area makes this bedroom a bit of a haven.
But I have to say that one of the biggest plusses for us was the swimming pool. We have been renting in this area for 12 years, and this is, by far, our best pool. It's huge. And it has a hand-rail, which is perfect if you have someone with mobility challenges.
The whole environment of Terrevita is very welcoming from the guard at the gatehouse to the people walking down the street, who always wave when you drive by. There's a sense of security without feeling like Big Brother is watching you.
And after a month of living here, we felt a real part of the area. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this place to anyone, and we look forward to coming back."

"My husband and I stayed at this property during spring training. It was approx a 45 minute drive to most games but a beautiful drive. This house is amazing with every amenity available. The subdivision has pools that we were not able to use due to the chilly weather. The kitchen is fully stocked, there's a grill on the beautiful back porch, and a fresh juice juicer. There are 2 full baths nice for us to get ready simultaneously. Fresh squeezed orange juice from the orange tree out back. Two bicycles available to you. The olive farm not too far away has GREAT food--especially breakfast. We had so much room. Very clean, new, beautiful place! Three bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths. Walmart, grocery stores, and restaurants nearby. Awesome house! Very highly recommended!!!"

"A small golf vacation for a few guys to celebrate a son's/nephew’s 16th birthday turned into a full-blown vacation for 4 families with 17 people (8 adults, 9 kids between the ages of 5-16). Our biggest issue, where do we stay with all of these people? We needed to find something where the kids would be entertained and the adults could enjoy themselves. This vacation probably would not have happened if we did not find John's house in Cave Creek.
The pictures you see do not do this property justice - the house is magnificent. Great open entertaining space, 1st class gourmet kitchen, beautiful dining room w/ mountain views, master suite you have to see to believe! Accommodations were perfect for our group and every aspect of the house was enjoyed – you truly did not have to leave (and we only did once!) Amenities were all first class – outdoor pool area w/ swim up bar/grill; mini-golf (which the kids loved and was very fun); trampoline; basketball court; theatre room (w/ full bath that opened to the outside - key for the long days at the pool) and game room were all utilized to their max. Indoor/outdoor entertainment system completed the great entertainment package. John and his family tried to think of everything in this house and it is definitely an entertainers paradise.
For those familiar with the Phoenix area, Cave Creek is in a great spot for a vacation. Far enough north to be out of the hustle of the valley, you definitely feel secluded and away from the craziness of normal life, yet close enough to the necessary vacation amenities - golf, grocery stores and other necessities (like Starbucks) are all very close. We took a day trip to Sedona, and the ride was about an hour and a half, so its convenient to other local attractions too.
I am a home owner (as many of us are), so I always expect issues when I rent houses/villas (and I do it often) – key is for the owner to be responsive to these issues, and John definitely was. We did have a few issues and he took immediate ownership and worked hard to fix the situation. In one case, he could not get an AC issue resolved timely, so he catered a Mexican meal for our group on the final night! (Thanks John!)
Overall, an absolutely fabulous vacation in a great location at a wonderful house. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a private resort disguised as a house We didn’t even mind the 115 degree heat! Only question for my group is how quickly will we be able to return??"

"We have stayed here for a number of years and always booked an extended stay. Sadly, life circumstances require us to release this unit. Our loss is your opportunity. This home is very well maintained and extra clean. It backs onto a walking path that we use daily and is in a quiet neighbourhood with friendly retired folks all around. The facilities of the community center are fantastic and as good as any resort.
Jim and Diane are great landlords and on the rare occasion that there has been a problem they have attended to it immediately.
The home is situated with a south facing backyard and a covered patio so you can select sun or shade as you prefer. There are beautiful sunsets over the White Tank Mountains right from your patio. If you want to spend time indoors, you have a large flat screen tv to keep you entertained.
Most of the floor surface is tile or hardwood and the entire place is small enough to make housekeeping easy but big enough to host dinner guests and occasional over-nighters."
