"First of all, we can't say enough about the owner Mary Beth. She is absolutely an amazing person and very gracious host. Mary Beth was very attentive to any needs we had, yet respected our privacy. You will love this townhouse with the high ceilings, patios, gas fireplace and beautifully decorated with southwestern charm. We found the townhouse to be in perfect order and well furnished. Because it is at the end of a dead end road, it is very peaceful and you are literally one block from the shops and restaurants in Cave Creek. There is so much to do in the area with all the hiking, art fairs and festivals, shopping, etc.. I am a marathoner and found the morning runs out Spur Cross road and to the trails very spiritual. We enjoyed the excellent live music at Janey's and Harold's in Cave Creek just to name a few. This place is the perfect combination of relaxation and exploration. The views, amenities and owner are 1st rate. We will most definitely stay here again."

"My wife and I, who have visited this area several times, decided for this trip to rent a house in the desert. We both are nature seekers and found this wonderful home to be exactly what the doctor ordered for winter weary bones. Deer, rabbits, an abundance of birds including raptors, visited our backyard vista on a daily basis. We became so familiar with the ten or so deer that we almost named them. One morning, my wife and I viewed a coyote very quickly traversing the wash that runs past the back fence.
If you are after quiet, a lovely home with a comfortable southwestern feel, then you have found your vacation. And the pool, despite the cool weather, was pleasantly heated and a nice place to relax."

"We just spent our second visit here, and it will definitely be an annual event for us planning ahead. The condo is spacious, comfortable, well-equipped, and the beds are very comfortable (which can be a deal breaker for me). There are two lovely balconies to enjoy, the pool across the road....and oh my, such a pleasant pool experience to be had here! We walked to town every day for our daily groceries/coffee/light shopping and it makes a perfect hour+ of exercise before we hit the pool. Our trip was solely for relaxation, so we did our morning desert walks then pool time with books everyday, and it was everything we wanted in a vacation. We ventured over to the Lariat for dinner on Thursday burger night, but otherwise, ate in. However, if visiting Scottsdale (or shopping and eating out) is your thing, this property is equally suited for your vacation; there's lots to do nearby. Plus, we love Ron, the property manager. He's a gem: responsive, friendly, and even provided airport shuttles for us from/to Phoenix airport, since we didn't have a rental car. Just one note to consider: if you're a late riser and want to sleep in, the Carefree airport is right next door and planes fire up and start their engines about 7am daily. It didn't bother us at all and in fact, we enjoyed that quaint airport. After sunset, there is absolutely no noise but the occasional hooting owls and coyotes in the distance--which is one of the highlights of a stay here, how quiet and relaxed the vibe is in the Villages. We'll definitely return and would recommend this rental to just about any kind of group."
