  • Wonderful Place to Stay

"This place was perfect for our multi-generational family vacation….the common areas were much larger than they appeared in the photo and the entire place was beautifully decorated. We spent several afternoons at the pool and the entire complex was clean and try nicely maintained. Everything we needed was there and it was a breeze to get to any part of the Phoenix area. Would highly recommend this villa for your get-away!"

  • You Won't Be Disappointed

"Our family travels always include rentals versus hotels. For those of you new to VRBO, I want you to know that Susan is amazing and her property caretaker Teri is as wonderful. We came here on a family retreat and found this home to be welcoming, tons of character and relaxing. We welcomed the morning with coffee at sunrise on the spectacular flagstone deck, spent most of our day poolside, cooking in the evening and closing the day with sunset and a fire. Don't forget about day trips to the wineries north, Jerome, Prescott, Sedona. We spent a day driving to Jerome and the area via the switchbacks. Be sure to check out MTM Ranch and Patti for horseback riding -- that too, was amazing!"

  • Wonderful Vacation

"We were there for the Month of March and had our grandchildren com out for a week. We have been coming to the Phoenix area for 10 years and stayed in Phoenix. First time Carefree. Carefree Villa was our favorite. The area is beautiful and the Villa was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. We loved it and hope to return again next March"

  • Arizona heaven

"We were fortunate to stay for 2 weeks in this fabulous home. We left Oregon on a foggy, rainy morning and arrived to SUNNY Phoenix and Carefree. This home is larger than our own and we found it to be very comfortable and relaxing. We ventured out to Cave Creek, Carefree and Scottsdale but always couldn't wait to get back "home" to this house. We spent hours in the hot tub and pool and by the outdoor fireplace. We spent some morning sunrises and evening sunsets on the sky deck. The pool and hot tub were perfect temperatures. The pool and spa were immaculately clean. I definately appreciated that the pool heating was included in the rental price. It is one of the main reasons I chose this house over others. Debi, the caretaker came and helped get us settled in and went over some things like how to turn the spa on, etc. She gave us some wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and sight seeing. I sent her a text or 2 and she always responded immediately. We had a minor issue with the temperature of the kitchen sink water. It would get lukewarm and occasionally hot. I did not find this to be a major issue. Debi was aware of this and offered to come check it. We were not going to be home and she did not want to enter the house without us there, which I respect. Some of our favorite places: Tonto bar & grill for happy hour at Rancho Manano golf course, El Encanto in Cave Creek for frozen margaritas, Boulders spa was nice but pricey, We-Ko-Pa golf course is stunning but an hour away (ask the locals for the back way through Rio Verde), Greasewood Flat is a magical place about 10 miles away on Alma School rd off of Rio Verde (aka, Dynomite). It has been there since the 1970's. Old arizona style. Outdoor venue with picnic tables to share, fire pits, live bands/artists, a dancing patio, good beer (aka, microbrews) and good burgers. There are bikers, seniors, and young families dancing, smiling and listening to the music. You won't regret it if you go. Unfortunately, Four Seasons and the surrounding neighborhoods are forcing them out and they will not be there much longer. It is really sad to see this icon go away."
