  • More than expected!

"We rented for the month of February 2014, our 5th consecutive year in the area, and it was by far the best house. It was well maintained, well stocked and the cleaniest so far. The south orientation is a big plus, especialy in the winter months and the area is very quiet. We heated the pool and swam almost everyday. We are hikers and the location is just minutes away of 3 large and well kept hiking centers (Apache Wash trails, Brown's Ranch and Cave Creek Regional Park) and central to shopping and other activities. We highly recommend it."

  • Perfect description for this VRBO.

"Recently stayed here the end of February. Both the description and pictures accurately represented the accommodations and amenities available. Everything was scrupulously clean and tastefully decorated.Very cozy. The King sized bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed the privacy and quiet especially to be able to enjoy the stars at night with a crackling fire in the outdoor chimnea, while listening to the sounds of coyotes singing to the moon in the distance or the owls softly hooting. We enjoyed a cup of coffee on the porch watching the sunrise while being serenaded by the songs of the morning birds. Caught glimpses of the covey of resident quails and an occasional coyote scoping the nearby wash for the jackrabbits hiding in the Mesquite. Nearby are several moderate hiking trails at the Spur Creek Ranch. They even have guided walks with rangers available. You are not far from the town, Cave Creek or Carefree for quaint shops and eateries. While in Cave Creek, stop by Oaks Diner for their hearty breakfasts of omelets and pancakes. Check out the Lazy Lizard Consignment if you enjoy hunting for furniture or antiques. Like history, stop by Cave Creek Museum on the corner of Basin & Skyline. They even have a little pathway in front that labels much of the local cacti and vegetation. The Horny Toad Restaurant serves great fried chicken. Need maps and more info. on the area go to the Chamber of Commerce in Cave Creek. Very friendly and helpful. Every Friday 9am- 1pm at the Sundial Monument hosts the Farmers Market. Homemade, Homegrown as well as organic fish, beef and lamb selections are available.Stop by Ortega's for the best service, prices and quality on jewelery. Feel like a cup of Tea? Go to The English Rose Tea Room on 201 Easy Street for an exquisite English cuisine in a truly authentic Victorian atmosphere. The location of this VRBO is centrally located if you wish to make several day trips to Sedona, Flagstaff, Phoenix and Scotsdale. We wanted to experience True Arizona without the typical Resort, touristy atmosphere. We wanted quiet and serenity but also to be close to a variety of hiking, exploring, shopping and dining out experiences. We were not disappointed. This was the absolute perfect place for all this. We left with a lot of places yet to be explored and experienced. We didn't want to leave.."

  • Everything we had hoped for!

"What a great place! The remote location and peaceful surroundings were exactly what we were looking for. As mentioned in other reviews access to the hiking trails of the Tonto National Forest and Spur Cross Ranch are literally out the back door. We did go down to cave Creek for the Friday night rodeo and had a good time. Melissa was great. I have rented from several different VRBO in the past and she is one of the best! Will definitely return in the future!"

  • Desert Willow

"We had a great time in Arizona and the rental home was perfect. There were 2 things that I wanted to mention but all in all it was great. The one propane tank attached to the BBQ was empty when we tried to use it so I really hope we will not be charged for the refill, we did attach the second bottle and refilled it before we left and the outdoor furniture was quite dirty with previous spills, bird droppings and dirt. Not huge issues but just thought that you should know. We will definitely be looking at renting again in the future!"

Cave Creek Travel Tips

Cave Creek Condos Offer Better Lodging Options

More vacationers staying in Cave Creek Arizona are now choosing Cave Creek condos rather than spending another trip in a cramped hotel. When lodging in vacation rentals, you can enjoy increased privacy and a wide range of wonderful amenities. The various features of Cave Creek vacation homes combine to provide the ultimate trip for your next stay in Cave Creek Arizona. After making your lodging arrangements, consider including the following items in your trip itinerary.

Explore the Outdoors

A main feature drawing many vacationers to Cave Creek is the wonderful outdoor scenery. Outdoor adventures are great chances to bring your family together and get some fresh air during your trip. If you want to transform your vacation into an outdoor adventure, consider booking a fishing trip on Bartlett Lake or spend a day hiking the trails of Cave Creek Recreation Area. Lodging at Cave Creek vacation homes provides the perfect setup for an outdoor vacation by offering plenty of space to store your gear.

Dine in Style

A great benefit of lodging at Cave Creek condos with full kitchens is the option to cook most meals in the rental rather than dining out. This is a great way to save more money while on vacation and spend quality time with family members. However, on those days when you would prefer someone else serving the meals, consider dining out at a local favorite such as the Horney Toad Restaurant or Saguaro Grille.

Go Shopping

Many visitors travel to Cave Creek specifically for the great shopping opportunities. If you plan to spend some cash during your stay at one of these beautiful Phoenix vacation rentals, don't miss the shops at Easy Street and El Pedregal. From specialty boutiques to quaint family-owned shops, you'll surely find something for everyone on your vacation.
