  • 2nd Floor Condo

"The stay was great as expected, as we had stayed at a different condo at this complex. The property manager was easy to get along with. The condo had everything we needed, Wi-Fi worked great, my husband loved the comfortable couch, and the REALLY BIG plastic glass for using poolside. Fountain Hills was a great location for us as we drove to the Grand Canyon, so being North of the city took some time off our travel. We also did the Apache Trail, also convenient to Fountain Hills. Both were great excursions that everyone should do when in Arizona. The pool and hot-tub were nice, but beware of the high chorine in the hot-tub. Also, this condo is on the 2nd floor and has a lot of stairs, good leg exercise. All in we had a great stay!"

  • Can't be beat!

"We lived very comfortably in this condo for 2 months. It was equipped with everything needed except clothes and toiletries. When supplies ran low, I was able to walk to Basha's and Walgreens to replenish. Restaurants were also within walking distance. Joanne was absolutely fabulous to work with before, during, and after the stay. She was prompt and professional and accommodated our every whim. The property is quiet, and the pool and jacuzzi are within steps of the condo. The condo was very clean, and the walk-in closet was great for storage. Fountain Hills has everything needed for an extended stay get-away. We loved being away from all the traffic of the city, yet 20 minutes from Sky Harbor airport. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if our wonderful experience hadn't prompted us to buy our own place! Thank you Joanne for a great experience."

  • Wonderful Condo in Fountain Hills

"We stayed in this condo for a 3-month period, from September through November, so we were able to experience both the end of the hot summer and the beginning of the cool winter. We were highly pleased with the condo itself and also with TJ, the owner. The condo is very comfortable and attractive. We were delighted at how well-stocked and well-decorated the unit was. We were quite impressed by the light and open feel of the unit, with the high ceiling and the windows in so many directions. We especially loved the dining area, with large windows on 3 sides, and the living room, which is lit by high windows on the north and east. We were also quite fond of the patio. Both of the bathrooms are quite nice. In many ways, we were impressed by how the architect designed this unit to allow in light, yet provide a sense of privacy. For example, we were amazed by the little, hidden alcove that allows light into the main bath. This unit may have one of the best designs in the entire area. This condo complex is quite small, giving the grounds a cozy and comfortable feel. The pool was only a few steps from the patio door, quite convenient. Desert quail live on the grounds, so each day we were treated to the sights and sounds of quail scurrying about. As for the location, we very much liked being in the small town of Fountain Hills, yet with easy access to additional amenities in Scottsdale and Mesa. We liked that we were only a short walking distance from the city’s famous fountain and the nearby shops. We were also only a short drive from some great hiking trails in Scottsdale's McDowell Sonoran Preserve. The hills surrounding Fountain Hills are beautiful, and we loved the desert vegetation – such as the saguaro, barrel cactus, and ocotillo. Finally, we were quite pleased with how well TJ treated us. In addition to stocking the condo with nearly every conceivable convenience that we might need, he stressed that we should feel free to contact him if we encountered any problems. On those rare occasions when we did encounter a minor problem (such as when the battery in the smoke detector started chirping, but it was too high for us to reach), he was there promptly to address the issue. In short, if we return to Phoenix in the future – which we certainly hope to do – we are first going to see if TJ’s condo is available!"

  • Country experience in the city

"We enjoyed a week stay in Nov. love the home, very cosy and comfortable with all the little things you need. This is more of a home than a vacation rental with lots of warm little touches. Patio and back yard overlooking the wash was the highlight. Fire pit with full moon rising over the mountains. Endless wildlife with visits from coyotes, Javelinas in the wash, all kinds of birds. Felt more like the country than the city. However easy walk to the shopping centre nearby, hikes, golf and great shopping in the area. I highly recommend the home and Fountain Hills as a vacation destination. Russ"
