  • Wonderful Christmas !!

"We had decided this year to spend Christmas in a warmer climate ( we are from Ontario Canada) this house had absolutely everything you could ask for and more, attention to detail was prevelant as it was so well equiped. There were 6 of us and we had a blast. My husband and son in law golfed at the Gold Canyon Golf Resort and throughly enjoyed it, the view was breathtaking. One of the better dinner locations if you like barbeque food is San Tan Flat over in Queen Creek food fabulous and the people watching is great!!"

  • Thumbs Up!

"This is a beautiful home, tastefully decorated, very clean, quiet respectful neighborhood. Spectacular views of superstition mountains from the back yard. For our interest of hiking this was a wonderful location for us, close to numerous trails! Home owners were so helpful and very easy to deal with! Definantly worth a return trip!"

  • As Advertised

"The home was clean when we arrived. Kitchen is well stocked, including a variety of spices. Comfortable sofa. Large TV, but not HD. There was a substantial DVD library available for our use, but limited selection of TV channels. The owner agreed to upgrade the Direct TV package and bill us for the difference. He also responded promptly when we had a problem with the lights in the kitchen area. The large desk in the den/second bedroom was really nice for working on the computer. We did have problems with our cell phone reception, so often used the landline for local calls. (not sure if it's a carrier issue or the location in general) We met several neighbors who were very friendly. The clubhouse & pool are a short walk away. The pool was comfortable and the hot tub was actually hot enough to enjoy. We needed a key to get into and out of the pool area, which was a bit of an irritant, given it's a gated community. The views of both Dinosaur Mtn and Superstition Mtn are marvelous, especially at sunset. The golf courses in the area are excellent and there are a number of hiking trails near by as well. There are several restaurants in the area but the only one to offer a "finer dining" experience is at Gold Canyon Resort. We usually drove into Mesa for a better meal, about 20 minutes away. There are a few options in Apache Junction, and I definitely recommend the Arizona Opry. The Renaissance Festival grounds are a couple miles to the East, if you like that sort of entertainment. Overall, I would say this townhome is a fine choice for golfers and hikers."

  • Retirement retreat

"We stayed for six weeks to celebrate our joint retirements. The home was spacious and comfortable. We very much enjoyed the area because attractions are a short drive away but the neighborhood itself is quiet and peaceful! I cannot stress how helpful Mike and Laurel were through the planning stages and our stay. If you like a location with mountains nearby for hiking, friendly people and wonderful weather in March!, this is the ones for you. We used the community pool because we enjoyed the company of the other residents and the views there were stupendous!"
