A great family base for spring break in the sun
"We were very lucky to book this house on short notice after circumstances forced us to change our original plans. We couldn't have been happier with the house. Thank you so much!
First of all, like some others have mentioned, the photos really don't do the house justice. It is very well set up, spacious and uncluttered with extremely comfortable furnishings. We had trouble getting our kids out of the massage chair!
The neighbourhood is quiet and a little out of the way - you certainly need a car to get around - but it's quite pleasant to walk around, and the pools are great. The unheated pool is only for the very brave in March, but the heated pool was lovely. The bikes provided a great way to explore.
Being on the northwest edge of Phoenix, it's fairly easy to get around without becoming stuck in traffic. We visited several parks - White Tank Mountain, Cave Creek (the horse trekking was excellent fun), Lake Pleasant and McDowell Mountain all offer a range of hiking trails from pleasant strolls to strenuous expeditions. It was also nice to be able to head north to Sedona when we left without battling traffic.
In summary, this was an ideal place to stay - a little out of the mainstream, but a great base to explore, and great value!"

"The House was in excellent condition and the equipment was of a high standard. The rooms were of a good size, beds were very comfortable and the location was peaceful. We had one minor problem with the plumbing that was sorted out immediately by Paul, the owner, without any inconvenience to us. If the house was available for next year we would have no hesitation in renting it again."

"We have rented in the Rio Verde/Tonto Verde area in November for the past 8 years and we glad to find this home when we decided to get away from the Minnesota winters. This is a lovely home with a open and bright main living area. The breakfast room is a wonderful place to start the day as you view the sunrise and drink your coffee. The home has a large master bedroom suite. The property is landscaped to provide a true AZ look and feel. The patio overlooking the pool and golf course provides a beautiful and quite area to relax and on some evenings you can view and enjoy very colorful sunsets. The home is located on a very quite street with almost no traffic. In season, you can pick grapefruit, oranges and lemons from the fruit trees on the property. The Rio Verde community center has a up-to-date equipment in the fitness room and a beautiful pool and spa area. The location provides easy access to the many activities, art & music events, restaurants, and Spring Training games. We experienced a positive working relationship with the owner. We definitely plan to return next year."

"We rented this home and arrived to find it just as advertised and just as the pictures showed. It was a lovely clean home in an excellent location for golfers or sightseers. The owners welcomed us along with our dog. Our stay was very enjoyable and I would recommend this home to anyone that is interested."
