  • Very comfortable and just as advertised

"I stayed a week over Thanksgiving and enjoyed the stay. The condo was clean, very well organized and easy to use. By following the excellent instructions given to me by the host I was able to access all the condo's benefits. A washer/dryer was very helpful . All appliances worked well. I would recommend this condo for one or two people. It is spacious and the walk-in closet is very handy."

  • Downtown Condo

"It was a great location for what we needed. It was very well maintained, nice amenities, quiet and clean. Dawn was very pleasant and easy to work with. We struggled with the air-conditioning that was pre-programmed and we couldn't get it off the programming until we finally just pushed a bunch of buttons on the last night and got it to go on and stay on. It kept shutting off and returning to the setting of 80-88 depending on the time of day. Outside was 110 degrees so we really needed the air conditioning. Dawn tried to help us with it, but she stated she hadn't had the problem before. There are also quite a few stairs so it wouldn't work well for anyone who may not be able to do stairs. The garage is very small and barely fit our full size rental car. However it was nice that there was a garage. The other tenants in the condo complex were very pleasant and helpful. The pool was nice, a bit small and bit dirty but still refreshing. Overall a nice condo."

  • Well furnished, clean condo in good location

"Tha condo was extremely clean on arrival, it had good furnishings throughout and was generally well equipped. TV was available in all rooms but there was no jeans of getting music so you need to take your own. Wi Fi s available in the Clubhouse which closes at 6pm and on Sundays but is still available around the pool area in proximity to the Clubhouse. There are 19 steps up to the Condo."

Phoenix Travel Tips

Whether you want to unplug and get in touch with nature on Camelback Mountain, take a swing on one of several postcard-worthy golf courses or see the best in contemporary thought at the Phoenix Art Museum, Phoenix delivers a one-of-a-kind experience for visitors. All of the rumors you heard are true: This sophisticated city is a worthwhile addition to your travel short list.

Phoenix Attractions

Phoenix has a warm, dry climate year-round, which means that you can dust off those sandals, shorts and sunglasses during your stay. The area is absolutely ripe with outdoor restaurants, markets, nature preserves and other forms of entertainment such as shopping, art galleries and more. You can leave your coat at home when traveling to Phoenix, where an abundance of national and state parks provide hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing of the world-class variety. Of all the protected wilderness in the area, Lost Dutchman State Park is traditionally a favorite for adventurers of all kinds.

Located on the eastern edge of the Phoenix metropolitan area, Lost Dutchman State Park is one of the most beautiful showcases of the flora and fauna in the true treasure of the Sonoran Desert. Featuring incredible saguaro cactuses that can grow to be over eight feet tall, the park provides an incredible amount of photo opportunities before you've even made it to the visitor center. In addition to the beautiful views that you can experience from the comfort of the beaten path, the park also offers a variety of hiking trails and for those looking to escape more thoroughly into the wilderness.

What's most interesting about this park, though, is indisputably the legend of the Lost Dutchman's gold. Local lore abounds in this park as well with the Lost Dutchman's gold. The story holds that a gold mine was opened here in the mid nineteenth 19th century by a Dutch immigrant who then left no trace of its location.

Over the years, many have tried to uncover the mine, though none have succeeded. According to local Phoenix legend, the area most suspected to hold the gold is Weaver's Needle in the Eastern Superstition Mountains. While we doubt you'll actually want to go chasing treasure, it makes a great story to tell the kids during a hike!

Golfing in Phoenix

Perhaps no single attraction brings more people to Phoenix than the city's immaculate golf culture - so don't leave the golf bag at home. Endless sun and warmth has brought the city an incredible opportunity to develop a year-round golf season. As a result, Phoenix is now known as one of the best golf cities in America, boasting over 250 courses in the greater metro area. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, you'll be able to find instruction catered to your skills as well as some of the most beautiful backdrops in the world for your time on the links.

While it's a wonderful thing that there are literally hundreds of golf courses in the Phoenix area, it can make the decision of where to actually play a bit daunting. Luckily, Encanto Golf Course makes the decision a bit simpler by offering something for everyone. The course, located in downtown Phoenix on 15th Avenue, is designed with the average golfer in mind, though there's nothing average about the course. Encanto Golf Course is a part of Encanto Park, a beautiful public area which Forbes ranked as one of the top 12 city parks in America.

Encanto Golf Course is open every day from an hour before dawn until a half hour after dusk and features a beautiful and challenging eighteen hole course, a full service restaurant and stocked pro shop. Lessons are available for those looking to brush up on their game at any point. Golfers are encouraged to call in advance for a tee time, due to the popularity of the park.

Dining in Phoenix

Phoenix boasts a plethora of fantastic restaurants, making it a desirable location for foodies - especially if they are big fans of Southwestern flavors. El Chorro, however, always manages to stand out among the crowded culinary scene. The restaurant sits on 14 acres of beautiful desert skyline in Paradise Valley and is the perfect setting for a romantic meal with your significant other. The structure initially served as an all-girls school in the 1930s, was overhauled into a restaurant in the 50s, and it's historic roots are celebrated in the decor, which still holds the regal, minimalist air of a western schoolhouse.
