  • Lovely house in good area

"House is very clean and well equipped. Loads of towels! We found it very comfortable and all enjoyed the pool and main patio. Gas grill came in useful. It is about a 10 min drive to supermarkets. A huge range of restaurants in a 10 - 15 min drive away. We ate twice at the Buffalo Chip in Cave Creek - great fun on Friday nights! Brown's Ranch Trailhead is less than a mile away if you fancy a bit of hiking or biking in the desert. Only very slight issue we have is that pool vacuum needs to be kept in the pool at all times - kids particularly found the hose got in the way whilst swimming. Otherwise though it is a great property and we would hope to return."

  • Dynamite Time in this Dynamite Home

"I was looking for a house to rent that would comfortably accommodate 3 couples, and this home looked like it would do just that, and it did! The owner was fantastic to work with. She always got back to me immediately when ever I had questions or concerns. I could not ask for a nicer person to rent from. Our group arrived late in the evening on a flight from Wisconsin. We were tired and ready to crash. Ellen, the owner, had the house all ready for us. The beds are big and very comfortable. The house is beautifully decorated. We utilized the kitchen (great blender by the way for margaritas), we used the outside gas grill, and the pool. We were able to wash our clothes before returning home. The location was awesome, close enough to the city but you feel like you are in the country. Just across the road is a walking trail (got a little exercise, needed it after all the eating and drinking). We visited Sedona, Jerome, Old Scottsdale, Cave Creek and Greasewood Flat. Our last day there we made the 3+ hour drive to the Grand Canyon. That was worth the trip. WOW. For sure I would recommend renting this house."

  • Excellent Vacation Property!

"We stayed here for 8 nights with our four children aged 8 - 15 and the house couldn't have been more perfect for us! We had plenty of space, more than enough beds and everything was very clean and comfortable. Nice touch having the fresh lemons and oranges every day too, kids were making lemonade and eating oranges the whole time! The things that set this house above others I have rented (3 others over the years in Phoenix): 1. Location - very nice quiet community, easy to access and close to grocery stores and shopping. Also very close to the 101 giving us easy access to everywhere we needed to go 2. Household goods - We are a family of 6 and we could have three meals before needing to do dishes, cooking utensils were plentiful and there were more than enough pots/pans for preparing meals. Was a very nice bonus to have a good stock of spices and dry goods in the house, saving us on the grocery bills. Always nice to not have to buy the staples 3. Pool - was great, everything worked well, no trouble with heating controls, very safe for youg children. More towels than we could use and enough lawn chairs for the family. The little things like not having to wash towels every day is really nice when you are on vacation. 4. Owner/Manager - The owner responded to me very quickly with every message and the manager in Phoenix was very accommodating with our check-in and out times, very personable and friendly. I would highly recommend this home to any family looking for a relaxing vacation in the Phoenix area, and would stay here again without hesitation should we travel there again."
