  • Wonderful Secluded Casita

"We loved our time at Casita Luminosa - thank you Cynthia & Allen for opening it up to others! The photos shown do a nice job of showing what we experienced. It is a wonderful spot for 2 - on the west side of Tucson. We were able to enjoy spectacular sunsets, and beautiful sunrises. Cynthia gave us a great overview when we checked in - and allowed us plenty of space during our stay. It is a little piece of heaven! Secluded, and full of nature - birds, coyotes at dusk and again at dawn, and even spotted a pair of owls. Near the Desert Museum and the Saguaro National Park - West Visitor Center. Thoughtful little things that were at the casita that were not expected: hiking sticks; cooler as well as paper products. Cannot say enough about this little place in what seems to be the middle of the big saguaros. We will be back!"

  • Excellent choice

"We stayed at Borg lane for one month. Funky, unique architecture and classy appointments. Stunning Catalina views and sunsets! The location is very good, close to U of A, downtown, but also east side nature beauty. Very quiet street. The proximity to the Tennis and Raquetball club (with two nice pools) is great and do buy the $30 week or $52 month pass, much cheaper than day passes. Also direct connection to the bike trail, perfect for bicycle lovers! The spa and pool are not user friendly and one is well advised to get some personal training from Tom the pool man. Even then, we gave up on using the pool because you can't really get it to a good temperature when it needs to be heated. But that was a small problem given that everything else was first class!! Strongly recommended!"

  • An Amazing Place to Stay.

"We recently spent a month travelling around the south-west states. The highlight of which was 4 wonderful days spent at High Road House. We loved it from the moment we arrived, and felt instantly at home. We have travelled for many years and rented many places, but never have we been made to feel so welcome. Never have we been so reluctant to leave. The Town, the house, the owners, all exceeded our expectations. Now back in England we treasure the memories of our time there and are so grateful we selected High Road House."

  • Excellent place to stay!

"Great location with quick access to lots of attractions/parks: Saguaro N.P west, Old Tucson, Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Mt Kitts, Reid Park Zoo. Even Colossal Cave and Saguaro NP East (on the opposite side of Tucson) were a breeze to get to with easy access to highways. The house itself was perfect for our family, we had a 22 month old with us, so the extra space, cleanliness, quiet/safe location and all the extras (stocked kitchen, lots of storage, play pen, fresh fruit, bottled water, enclosed landscaped yard safe for kids, BBQ, attached garage etc..) came in very handy. Will definitely book again, owners were great!"
