  • Beautiful views

"The home was in a really convenient neighborhood. It is close to downtown Tucson, Saguaro West National Park, the Desert Museum, the freeway and good eating spots. It was very spacious.vews from the big deck were great in several directions. The kitchen was well equipped and roomy. It was very nice of the owners to allow us to park our car in the garage under the rental. They were accommodating whenever we had issues. We thought that there were a couple of things that needed updating: the master bed was very soft, hard to get in and out of and high for 70+ year olds, the front door from the deck needed a new lock, the barbeque did not work very well even after the owner worked on it. Nevertheless, the home was a fun location for the 4 of us from Minnesota. It was fun watching the coyotes from the deck walk up and down the road!"

  • Excellent family vacation spot

"My family stayed here during spring break and had a wonderful time. The house had plenty of room and the amenities were excellent. Our boys shot hoops for hours while the adults hung out by the pool. We were there during the college basketball finals and really enjoyed watching the big game outside on the patio. The location is perfect - outside of town, but close enough to all of the major Tuscon attractions."

  • Quiet, comfortable and a short walk to town!

"We visited Bisbee for the first time last weekend and had a fabulous stay in the main (upstairs) unit at Sun Country Guest House. The location is perfect, with High Desert Market and Café (for breakfast and groceries), Screaming Banshee Pizza (for lunch) or the Bisbee Royale (for dinner or a movie) all just a five-minute walk away, and the rest of the many sights of Old Bisbee just ten minutes further east. If you don’t feel like walking into town on a given morning, then you can sit on the peaceful front porch and enjoy the sounds of birds chirping and the sun-dappled views of the surrounding hillsides ... Aside from its ideal location, we also appreciated the cozy bedroom, the spacious kitchen, and the newly renovated bathroom in the upstairs unit. Overall, we found the property to be quiet, comfortable, and easily accessible, whether driving from Tucson or walking into town. We would recommend it without hesitation to anyone who is planning to visit Bisbee, especially for the first time."

  • Shh, Don’t tell anyone…

"I almost didn’t write a review for this “one of a kind” rental that has everything you would want and need when visiting the Tucson area. I would rather keep it a secret because the less people that know about it the better chance I will have to rent it again next winter. I would run out of room telling you everything that we found good about this home but will try to sum it up in a couple of paragraphs. First of all I’ve never personally met the owner (Guy) but have talked with him several times over the phone. Guy is an owner who is easily reached and who would bend over backwards to make your vacation a memorable one. We visited Tucson in early March 2015 when the temperatures are usually not warm enough to justify turning on the solar heat for the swimming pool. When Guy learned that my two young Grandsons would be visiting he sent his maintenance man Robert over to turn on the heat and get the pool up and running. The solar heating system worked great and the pool temperature warmed up to a comfortable level within a couple of days. And I can’t say enough about Guy’s right hand man Robert. Besides getting the pool going Robert had to make a minor repair during our stay. Robert is a capable, considerate and friendly man who is easy to get along with. Guy your lucky to have a gentleman like Robert taking care of your home. Guy’s home had everything we needed and more. The home is so large that even with a full house there was plenty of room if one needed “their own space” to get away for awhile. This home is furnished with everything as described. What you don’t get from the description is how beautiful the views are and the great location in NE Tucson. The home offers first class views of the Sonoran Desert and the Catalina Mountains from not only your patio but form several windows in the home. Your only minutes away from Saguaro National Park and Sabino Canyon, both of which I would recommend seeing. We loved the convenient location which is in a quiet residential area only a short distance from major roads. All your shopping is only a few minute drive from the house. Our family will never forget our daily morning and evening walks in the neighborhood where we seldom seen neighbors out or cars on the road. Thank you Guy for letting our family enjoy your home. We look forward to a longer stay next winter."
