  • Comfortable Condo - good location

"The condo matched the description and photos posted on VBRO. It's worth mentioning that the kitchen was very well equipped. There was a good supply of small appliances, bowls, pots, and cooking utensils. There were plenty of linens. The second bedroom is small, but the picture shows you that. If there is a down-side, it is the location of the parking lot. It is behind the building and up a few stairs. Since it rarely rains in Tucson it wasn't a problem. Overall, a good condo with pleasant, responsive owners."

  • A great place to relax and enjoy!

"We spent five weeks in this desert home and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is very comfortable, clean, well stocked and in a quiet, safe, friendly neighbourhood. Weiwin and Mike were great to deal with (uber responsive!). We had a problem with a tv and they came and installed a new one right away. Nestled in the mountains and desert, the location is good for exploring the many sites in Tucson and area (either by car or bike). Even our dog loved the all the local parks. If we head back to this area, we hope to stay here again and will definitely recommend it to friends and family. Thanks for everything!"

  • desert experience

"we were looking for a " comfortable desert experience,"...not wanting to "rough it" nor wanting to be in a condo/subdivision community and the Hacienda absolutely filled the bill....away from any housing or building congestion we enjoyed a spacious, comfortable house in a horse-property-zoned area where the acreage still reflects natural landscaping....being just outside city limits near Saguaro National Park East we took leisurely walks along unimproved roads without worry of traffic...horses, jackrabbits, coyotes...all part of the desert-scape. the yard was unobtrusively fenced giving us a sense of security and privacy but still allowed us to enjoy the expansive panorama... every afternoon we sat under the pool-side casita surrounded by saquaros and mountain views...our dog had plenty of area to explore (we appreciated the dog-friendly hosts). the "x" factor in rental searching is not being able to see a floor plan...happily for us, the lay-out of the Hacienda was very comfortable with locations of bedrooms/bathrooms conveniently arranged...three bedrooms are ensuite, and the fourth bathroom just outside the den/converted bedrm. especially enjoyed meeting the homeowner-hosts who are welcoming and attentive...merci beaucoup."

Tombstone Travel Tips

Visit the Old West with Tombstone Vacation Rentals

The famed western town of Tombstone offers a chance to step back in time to when men had duels in the dusty streets, gunfire was a common sound, and horses were the primary mode of transportation. From your Tombstone vacation rental, there are many options for experiencing the Old West flavor of Tombstone. You can eat a meal in Big Nose Kate's Saloon, ride in a covered wagon through town, or even check out O.K Corral. Helldorado town offers visitors a reenactment of an old western gunfight. Watch actors perform a shootout and pretend you're part of the townsfolk. You can even rent period costume sets for your family to make the whole experience feel more authentic. Whatever history you want to immerse yourself in, the old west comes alive when you stay in Tombstone vacation rentals.

There Are More than Just Gunfights in Tombstone

In addition to the western themed pursuits in Tombstone, travelers will find a variety of recreational opportunities nearby. Several ghost towns are within driving distance, as are natural wonders like Colossal Cave or Saguaro National Park, where you can view the iconic cacti standing tall in their natural environment. There are over a dozen golf courses in nearby Tucson, you can check out the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, or drive to Bisbee and tour the former mining town or the copper mines themselves. Shopping, art galleries, and antique stores are also easily accessible for those in your party who love browsing the local products.

Tucson Area Vacation Homes Are a Good Alternative to Hotels

Get more space for your money with Tombstone condos, houses, apartments, and cottages. Choose the amenities you want, like decks with mountain views, or gourmet kitchens. Whatever you need in vacation lodgings, Tombstone vacation rentals are the perfect choice.
