  • Worth your money

"The apartment is in mint condition, the surrounding complex is very well kept, the proximity to the Sabino Canyon makes it attractive to hikers, runners and bikers and finally, the owner Karine is doing a very professional job. We can only highly recommend it."

  • D.J.

"Arrived Dec. 01, The unit had not been used for some time so was dusty & dirty. After we cleaned everything was fine the unit was comfortable and suited our stay as we were there to see all that there was in the Tucson area. Quiet neighborhood and neighbors great. It does not have Wi FI so we installed our own from Cox. They have a great pool and workout room at the clubhouse."

  • Sounds, solitude, scenery in SE Arizona!

"The Heartland Guesthouse was a birder's paradise! We saw 18 species of birds just while sitting on the patio. When we didn't SEE them, we HEARD them--a symphony of bird calls! The setting was gorgeous, and the serenity was wonderful. Rachel was very friendly & helpful with suggestions about where to explore/things to do, & she provided many maps, brochures, & bird guides for our use. Zena (one of 3 dogs on the property) became our "best friend"--always welcoming us, always ready for a treat! The guesthouse itself was very comfortable, immaculate, well-organized, and well-stocked with everything a person could need. We can't say enough good things about our stay here. Four nights were definitely NOT enough; we want to return! Patagonia Lake State Park was a true "find" & the place where we saw an elegant trogon. The "Overland Trout" served delicious, creative food. Be sure to include these places in your visit!"

  • Wonderful vacation rental, especially for the birders VRBO #334152

"We rented this property for a month so that I can go birding around Sierra Vista areas. The rental is clean, modern and well-kept. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood, and yet is in the proximity of the grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The house is well furnished and the landlord cannot be more accommodating. The backyard is fenced in so that my dogs can used the thick lawn. Best of all, it is centrally located to all the local birding spots, and no place is more than 14 miles from the house. The birding is exceptionally good in April. The weather is also exceptionally good in April."

Tombstone Travel Tips

Visit the Old West with Tombstone Vacation Rentals

The famed western town of Tombstone offers a chance to step back in time to when men had duels in the dusty streets, gunfire was a common sound, and horses were the primary mode of transportation. From your Tombstone vacation rental, there are many options for experiencing the Old West flavor of Tombstone. You can eat a meal in Big Nose Kate's Saloon, ride in a covered wagon through town, or even check out O.K Corral. Helldorado town offers visitors a reenactment of an old western gunfight. Watch actors perform a shootout and pretend you're part of the townsfolk. You can even rent period costume sets for your family to make the whole experience feel more authentic. Whatever history you want to immerse yourself in, the old west comes alive when you stay in Tombstone vacation rentals.

There Are More than Just Gunfights in Tombstone

In addition to the western themed pursuits in Tombstone, travelers will find a variety of recreational opportunities nearby. Several ghost towns are within driving distance, as are natural wonders like Colossal Cave or Saguaro National Park, where you can view the iconic cacti standing tall in their natural environment. There are over a dozen golf courses in nearby Tucson, you can check out the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, or drive to Bisbee and tour the former mining town or the copper mines themselves. Shopping, art galleries, and antique stores are also easily accessible for those in your party who love browsing the local products.

Tucson Area Vacation Homes Are a Good Alternative to Hotels

Get more space for your money with Tombstone condos, houses, apartments, and cottages. Choose the amenities you want, like decks with mountain views, or gourmet kitchens. Whatever you need in vacation lodgings, Tombstone vacation rentals are the perfect choice.
