  • Great Condo for Ventana Canyon/Sunrise Area of Tucson

"This property offers a high-value, well-priced option in the swanky Ventana Canyon and Sunrise area of Tucson. The spacious corner unit offers a split floor plan, a screened porch and lots of windows and light. The washer and dryer off the guest room side is a nice option for longer stays as is the working fireplace. The well-equipped kitchen with newer appliances offers a nice venue if you choose to cook, with a peninsula that is open to a dining area. Closet space was ample. The tile and stone in the updated bathrooms was quite nice and we found plenty of towels. The complex pool was quite nice as was the tennis court and we enjoyed the trail access to Ventana Canyon and to the Loews Hotel, or it is a short walk to the hotel and lodge. A shopping complex nearby offered a high-end grocery, several restaurants including a lovely branch of El Charro and several banks and other services. We've stayed many times at the Loews and I'd recommend this condo for the additional space, amenities and other features if you are in town for more than a day or two. Visitors also are just a short drive from Sabino Canyon and from other Tucson attractions."

  • Cozy adobe cottage with a sense of style

"Clean, comfortable little house with everything you might need for a short vacation (e.g. fully outfitted kitchen, washer and dryer). We stayed with our two kids (5 & 10) and it worked great. The neighborhood is nice - I think has more character than most Tucson neighborhoods, but you do need a car to get places. Joanne (the owner) is very friendly and helpful. Basically no complaints - it was a great place to stay."

  • Great downtown location

"Nice little Casita for a short in-town stay. If you are looking for walkability this is a good choice (close to 4th Ave, Congress Street). The place itself is very comfortable, nicely decorated, and very clean. The owner was friendly and easy to contact The house is well furnished and equipped with everything you might need. Only downside is traffic noise - it's located on a very busy street and across from an Ace Hardware store. So if you are looking for an urban, downtown experience and don't mind the busy street, it's a good bet."

  • Paloma Paradise

"My girlfriends and I had a wonderful girls getaway last May. We golfed, hiked, biked, and had pool time during the day, and enjoyed the wonderful nearby shopping and restaurants in the evening. I would heartily recommend The Desert Museum, it's world class. The accomodations were terrific, the house is beautifully appointed with original art, Indian Rugs, and custom fabrics. It is spacious and commodious. There is a beautiful patio and grill outside, which easily accomodates gracious entertaining. I found the owners to be very attentive and responsive. I will look forward to visitng Tucson and this home again soon!"
