"Stayed here with a group of friends from college, mixed couples and singles, to attend a wedding at Tanque Verde Ranch. The house was perfect for us, enough space for everyone to have their privacy, and plenty of common space for us to all hang out in together. This place was huge! The beds were comfortable and all amenities were as described. The views outside the house onto the desert and the mountains are gorgeous. It was warm during the day during our stay in October, so the pool was lovely to cool off in during the day and was warm enough to swim in even when in was in the 50s at night. Guy was very helpful and responded quickly to all questions."

"The guest house is kept in excellent condition and so very clean, with so much supplied: soaps, cleaning products, paper goods...and the daily newspaper! It's very, very well furnished and very comfortable. The large walk-in bedroom closet with mirrored doors is another plus. The pool and spa are also kept in excellent condition. It's so convenient to have the owner close by; if anything is needed, just call Bill and he's here before you even hang up the phone.
The location is so very convenient for dining, shopping at the mall, grocery shopping, shows, hiking and biking, fitness center, senior center, etc., etc. ... Repeat: very conveniently located. We've stayed here for 7 enjoyable winters, Jan.-April."

Great place - wonderful setting - access to many activities
"My family really enjoyed staying at this condo. Our trip was over March 28-April 5 2015 and while intended to be mostly vacation it was also part business as we took care of some family business for my mother-in-law. The location was about 10-15 minutes from mother-in-law so that made that aspect of the trip that much easier.
We scheduled this at the last minute and fortunately the owners were able to work with us to allow for a 1 week rental. They stayed in contact with us during our travel to Tucson and upon arrival so we were able to meet in a timely manner. They were flexible and communicated well.
The property itself is nicely done. The kitchen was updated and had all the needed items for cooking, etc., even though we ate out a fair amount. The rooms were spacious and the beds very good. The condo property has a heated pool and we were able to get in several times - the kids had a blast as we did some of our regular pool games. We also made it over to Sabino Canyon (very short drive - but you can walk or bike there we just were short on time) for a couple of hikes. My wife enjoyed mornings out the patio area. There's lots of restaurants and things to do in the vicinity.
The family walked a short distance up to the Ventana Canyon Golf and Racquet Club - there is a fitness trail with exercise stations that runs along the golf course property. We did the fitness trail all the way up to the start - it was a real blast!
We ran into one unexpected interruption - the first night the owner turned on the AC to run. It ran continuously all night but never seemed to drop to the set temperature. It was not super hot yet so it did not overly concern me and our family was not bothered by the temp, but I decided to keep an eye on it. That same morning/day it continued to run without ever lowering to the preset temperature. I decided to call and let the owner know that there might some kind of issue. He had someone come over immediately to determine what might be happening - the AC was not functioning as it should be and needed to be addressed/replaced. He brought in a portable swamp cooler to help keep things cool and we ran the ceiling fans and opened the windows at night. While the AC was not fixed during our stay the owner was very conscious of it, showed empathy, and communicated with us frequently throughout the stay. He also made a nice gesture to accommodate this unanticipated occurrence. Great stay at a great place with great owner."
