"What makes a great place to stay?... Location, Comfort, Privacy, Peaceful Surroundings, Mountain views and an Accommodating Host! It's all here! Micole couldn't have been a better host, he even picked up some "take out" for us knowing we drove hard for two days...so very thoughtful! He also made sure we were enjoying our stay! No problems there. We liked all the closet space, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, and the 1 1/2 bath was a Plus. From the quiet, private patio and grounds we enjoyed the sunrise views and wildlife: Quail, Roadrunners, Rabbits, Javelina, and we heard Coyotes in the early am. You could walk or bike to the Saguaro National Park (east) for hiking or roadway viewing. The Tucson area is Full of Great things to do! We would certainly recommend this rent house and would LOVE to come back soon!"

"This condo is beautiful and very comfortable. It is well equipped with highe-end kitchen appliances, washer and dryer, and luxurious bed and bathroom linens. There are lots of nice little touches throughout. Wifi access was a bit of an issue, but we were able to use the internet line access. Proximity to Sabino Canyon, the Ventana trail, and a supermarket made this a very convenient place to stay. I'd definitely stay here again!"

"I have stayed at the Starr Pass casitas for at least 12 years with my old college roommates for a fun golf weekend. Since we all attended the University of Arizona, they always enjoy coming back to the Old Pueblo. I have always rented in the past through the corporation that owns the casitas. This year I went on to VRBO and found the 2-bedroom Owl casita. The owner was very communicative and informative about arrival, things to do, etc. The difference was noticeable immediately. It was fully furnished, with many of the extra niceties not offered by the corporate rentals. The sheets were higher quality and the location and patio were wonderful for outdoor relaxation. We had a family of 10 Javelinas stroll by one evening while on the patio-and that was a sight to be seen. Great views, great times, great golf........awesome!
Since I live in Tucson a few suggestions: Restaurants: Vivace-best restaurant in town/El Charro downtown (close by) for great Mexican food, Golf: play Sewailo, Dove Mountain and Ventana Canyon."

"We have spent the month of March in this family home for the past two years. The weather in Tucson is wonderful at that time- warm sunny days and cooler nights.
The property is set back from the eighth fairway at Skyline Country Club, with lovely desert plantings to provide privacy. Just a short walk down a brick path to get onto the course for morning and nightly walks, with or without your dog. Very comfortable accommodations and close to restaurants and a wide variety of shopping. Owner Matt and property manager Angela are friendly and helpful. Safe upscale gated community. House itself is as described in other reviews. Has all the essentials for easy move in and move out. Came to feel like home."
