"I need a retreat from the continuous phone calls, emails, projects and emergencies in my business. Upon reading the story about how the owners used their home to have an annual family planning meeting, I knew this would be the spot for me. It was ideal. I felt out of reach, but with WiFi and my cell phone, I remained in touch. Being both minutes from downtown (and many amazing restaurants) made sure my weekends were entertaining while my weekdays were productive time to get everything done without interruption. It's a memorable space and the thick walls kept any sounds out of the bedroom. I slept better than I had in months. The owners did everything to make me feel welcome."Guest: Mark Mason Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 17, 2014View listing
"My husband and I stayed for five days over Thanksgiving. The rental is easy to get to, with great shopping, restaurants and golf close by. Downtown and the university are an easy drive. We loved how spacious the accommodations were. (Our nephew and his fiance joined us for much football watching and we all had plenty of room to spread out!) The bed (and luxury bedding) are super comfy. The kitchen is a tad small but has a full-size fridge and stove/oven. Meals are easy to prepare. But with Trader Joe's and AJ's so close, it's easy to pick up pre-made meals if you don't feel like cooking. We can't wait to return in warmer weather so we can enjoy the pool area -- which is fantastic. We've stayed in more expensive (and smaller) VRBOs in Tucson and never had such a wonderful experience. Thanks, John and Lisa. We'll be back."Guest: Mandy M. Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: November 30, 2014View listing
"This home was just perfect for my husband and I to enjoy Tucson and the surrounding area over Thanksgiving weekend. It had everything we needed and was conveniently located. We spent our days outdoors at Mt. Lemmon rock climbing and then explored the restaurants on 4th Ave at night. We definitely plan to stay here again next year! Definitely check out the Cup at Hotel Congress for breakfast! If you're into novelty art, check out the nearby Diamondback Bike And Pedestrian Bridge."Guest: Cindy Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: December 7, 2014View listing
"We lived in Tucson for a year (2005 -2006) and fell in love with it. We have been back every year since we left to visit friends and relax. This home is fairly close to where we used to live so we jumped at the chance to rent a home on this side of town. We were not disappointed. The home is comfortable and nicely decorated. We spend most of our time out by the pool. Our 3 yo always asks to go back to the pool house. For parents with small children, there is a gate installed between the pool and the house to keep your little ones from finding their way to the pool on their own. The view from the back patio is amazing! Especially in the evening when the shadows start to fall on the mountains and the setting sun turns the mountains red. If you are a cyclist, you'll love leaving from here to put on some good miles. You can ride Gates Pass and A mountain or use the bike path nearby for a leisurely ride. We have stayed at this home 3 times and will be back again on our next trip! Thanks Mark and Paul!"Guest: Maureen and Ross Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: November 21, 2014View listing
