  • Elegant, Breathtaking and....Homey!

"This is a truly amazing and beautiful house. We had a family reunion and despite being awed by our spectacular surroundings, we had a wonderful time and felt very much at home. There is so much space, we kept getting lost at first. And the kids loved asking newcomers to find the 'secret' room and serving 'cocktails' in the bar. and everyone enjoyed the pool area. The pictures of the solarium do not do it justice. We had friends over one evening after the family had left, and they just wanted to hang out there. The view anytime of the day or night is incredible. We had a leak but the caretaker walked me through the steps on the phone to turn off the water and then showed up quickly. He had to come back the following day but brought his daughter to do the dishes we'd had to leave! There are some great restaurants and shopping and hiking very nearby, but really, we just wanted to hang out in the house. It was very hot while we were there and our only problem was that the A/C wasn't cooling in part of the downstairs bedroom area so it was really hard to sleep. But, our stay was economical because it was summer. Most people aren't crazy enough to travel to Tucson in the summer so it wouldn't be a problem. We're thinking of calling for another reunion just so we can return."

  • Outstanding property for athletes training in Tucson!

"I brought several coached triathletes of mine to Tucson for a training camp and we stayed in this house AND the owner's equally perfect rental house directly across the street (#436693) for the duration of our camp. The houses were very clean, roomy, and well-decorated, and the location was IDEAL for our rides (including Mt. Lemmon, Saguaro National Park East and West, Gates Pass, Rillito River Path), runs (including Phone Line, Seven Falls, and Starr Pass trails, Rillito River Path), and swims (JCC pool). The area is an excellent training ground for all multisport athletes and Tucson has become a hotbed of endurance sports with the world's largest triathlon retailer, TriSports.com, located only a short bike ride (7 mi) away from this house. For anyone in good physical condition, you can walk to pretty much anything you need from this address (grocery stores, pharmacies, Starbucks, Trader Joe's, Chipotle, Target, Arizona Shuttle bus drop-off point on Speedway Blvd., etc.). HIGHLY recommended. Thanks!!"

  • House for U of A Graduation

"Had seven people that needed a place to stay for my daughters graduation. Eric and Wife were great to work with. The house worked out perfectly for the grandparents and my family. Very accommodating owners, very clean, great space for everyone!"

  • A sanctuary not with wildlife, but from my wild-life.

"I need a retreat from the continuous phone calls, emails, projects and emergencies in my business. Upon reading the story about how the owners used their home to have an annual family planning meeting, I knew this would be the spot for me. It was ideal. I felt out of reach, but with WiFi and my cell phone, I remained in touch. Being both minutes from downtown (and many amazing restaurants) made sure my weekends were entertaining while my weekdays were productive time to get everything done without interruption. It's a memorable space and the thick walls kept any sounds out of the bedroom. I slept better than I had in months. The owners did everything to make me feel welcome."
