"Great vacation home that was exactly as advertised. Tons of wildlife viewable from the backyard including hummingbirds, rabbits, quail, and ground squirrels. Comfortable beds, 3 TV's with full complement of satellite channels, BBQ in backyard, 2 car garage. Excellent restaurant on property grounds, access to a small gym and swimming pool is complimentary. Well appointed kitchen with all those small things you forget to pack or buy on your way in. Washer and Dryer with all supplies are provided. Secure gated community, quiet, and owners are friendly and always available to answer your questions. Convenient location to Mt Lemmon and Sabino Canyon, and all activities in the northeast portion of Tucson. Excellent value for the amenities and convenience!"Guest: RichP Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 18, 2014View listing
"Stayed here on a weekend trip to Tucson - conveniently located for us, and easy to get back and forth. Good coffee shop nearby, but the house has a teakettle and coffee maker if you don't want to go out; we didn't fix meals, but the kitchen has all the usual tools for cooking. Bathrooms were vintage/retro, but functional and charming. Beds comfortable, nice to have two living rooms to spread out in. A little hard to find late at night (street name changes near the park), but the photo helped! Charming backyard patio, near a nice park too. Would stay here again!"Guest: greatful traveler Date of Stay: December 2013 Review Submitted: December 17, 2013View listing
"My husband and I stayed in this lovely home in the Winterhaven neighborhood for a month and hated to leave; it had begun to feel like home. This house is comfortable, convenient, and aesthetically pleasing, which is always important to me. The listing photos are accurate, but don't give you a full sense of the high quality and good maintenance of the property, which was very clean Comfortable mattresses! That's at the top of my list of needs. Right below that is good water pressure in the shower. This house has both. The kitchen is modern, and had everything and more that we needed for cooking meals. We also enjoyed the cozy dining room off the kitchen with its picture window offering a view of the back yard. This house affords a lot of privacy: It's in a quiet, safe, tree-lined neighborhood with little traffic. The back yard, which is very large, is completely enclosed by a 6' privacy fence. This space was perhaps my favorite feature of the home. There are gorgeous palm trees, and I loved just observing the birds, which range from mockingbird to hummingbird. One morning a hawk was perched in a palm tree, and another morning 4 quail wandered about the yard slowly like a group of monks strolling the grounds of a monastery! The view of the Santa Catalina Mountains is impressive in the ever-changing light. But most of all I appreciated sitting in the courtyard under the protective cover of the ramada. It was like having an additional room, one in which I spent time meditating and reading almost every day, hearing only the songs of the birds and the faint sound of traffic on Prince Rd. I would make only a few minor suggestions for perfecting this haven: Perhaps a table lamp in the living room for those of us who like to read (there are three floor lamps, but they are too high for reading), a towel rod in the master bath, where there is none, and if it's possible to lower the mirrors in the 2 main bathrooms, that would be so great. I'm over 5 feet tall, but had to stand on my toes just to see my whole face. There is a mirror in the third bathroom that's lower, but it's inconvenient because it's at the other end of the house. As I say, this is just tweaking around the edges, nothing serious. I highly recommend a stay here; we've already reserved the house for the same time next year. The owner and the property manager are friendly and easy to work with. They make themselves available by phone and email, and are quick to respond to any requests."Guest: Diane Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 8, 2014View listing
"We found that the condo exceeded our expectations. Plenty of room and my wife especially liked the way it was decorated. I loved the full-service 2 TV setup, especially during college basketball March Madness season. During our month long stay we meet several full time residents who were very nice. My wife enjoyed the pool and spa. Good place to meet people. I found the gym to be better than most at these types of places. Bill was very easy to work with and the place was very well equipped with everything you need for a stay. Only wish it were available more often."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 22, 2014View listing
