"Having lived in Tucson in the mid 80s (before Starr Pass was developed) I thought the Catalina Foothills was the nicest area. I stand corrected. Starr Pass is where you want to be. It is a short drive to the University, the newly improved downtown area, Gates Pass and arguably the most beautiful area on earth, Saguaro National Monument.
The Owl Casista is spacious, well appointed, nicely decorated and the beds and linens were top notch! While I did not golf, the course looked remarkable! It is a huge plus having convenient access to the Marriott. The hotel is gorgeous and the food is remarkable and reasonably priced. It is a nature lovers dream. Just off the porch we saw wild quail, humming birds and a couple of coyotes.
The owner is super responsive. When my wife forgot her hair dryer, I texted her asking if they had one. To my surprise, one was delivered to our door hours later! I will definitely be back!!!"
