"My wife and I recently had the pleasure of spending a couple of weeks in this peaceful and charming home. We loved the floor plan, the furnishings, the nice view deck, the salt water swimming pool and hot tub, the quiet condominium complex, and all that the Catalina Foothills has to offer! Ventana in without a doubt the nicest area in Tucson. It's very quiet and close to Sabino Canyon Park, The Ventana Trail system, and the Catalina Mountains. We have been Vacation Rental owners for almost 25 years. We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts, who were receptive to all our wants and needs. We would highly recommend this home to anyone considering a trip to Tucson. Thank you, Susan and Peter!"

"our son who lives in Tucson was having surgery and I needed a place to stay where he could come to recover (he leaves in a dorm type situation) and I could help with his recovery. A hotel was out of the question for me because I don't like to eat out all the time and I was staying for over a week. I needed a kitchen. When I arrived, Tom (the owner) was waiting for me to get me all settled. He was very responsive and accommodating all throughout our stay. The house was spotless, everything in working order, and very comfortable. The garage was definitely a plus to keep the car cool in the hot AZ sun. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet and the location was great. Lots of places to eat or shop nearby. Really close to U of A. I would recommend this property."

"Wonderful stay at the Villages of La Paloma. Accommodations very roomy and comfortable and a great location near the base of the Catalina foothills. Nice shops and great restaurants close by. We plan to visit again!"

"Casa Encantada is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting with a great location. Thank you, Gary, for sharing. We spent ten days there the end of April/beginning of May this year. The house itself is a marvelous classic adobe-style house dressed up with Barragan-inspired interior colors, a phantasmagorical mosaic in the bathroom and an extensive collection of wooden, clay and etc. figures, creatures and critters scattered throughout. The setting is lovely, the surrounding desert a superb mix of native plants with Sombrero Peak looming in the distance. We were lucky enough to be there when the Palo Verde were in bloom, so both the area around the house and the flanks of the mountains in the distance to the west and south were covered with their yellow blooms -- a truly marvelous time to be there. Of course we were in the hot tub every afternoon following busy days doing this and that. The kitchen was wonderful for cooking (with every pot, pan and gadget you could wish for), which we did every night but one with provisions from Food City, our favorite market. The master bedroom was comfortable and the living room perfect for evening reading (lounging and stretch-out space, well lit). All in all, a perfectly marvelous place to recover from an active day and spend a restful evening. We recommend Casa Encantada without reservation and look forward to returning."
